This rating is actually for the franchise, itself. Because one of their core business functions is courier delivery service and yet they allow individual store owners to charge whatever fee they want for the exact same service. There is no continuity within the Franchise in this regard. N1 city is R265 ONE WAY delivery and PLATTEKLOOF IS R900!! Buyer beware and price within THE SAME FRANCHISE, FIRST!
2384 reviews and an overall rating of 1.5 stars. How much clearer can it get?? I’ve supported Loot online for years. Then something changed - Dawn “courier services”. I was charged for delivery via this “service” when placing my online orders…only to have to collect at least three of them from said “courier service” office as they simply did not deliver my items. I find them to be dishonest, disinterested and an absolute joke of a service provider. Their calls disconnect. Their call queue system is faulty (you jump from 5 to 2 then back down to 6), their calls disconnect or get hung up on when you reach number 1 in the queue. No managers are contactable. Staff can’t even get hold of them and courier drivers do not respond to messages from their own call centre. There’s something seriously wrong with this company. Loot online will never receive an order from me again - Takealot has effortlessly won my entire family and myself (you best believe that friends will also hear of this) as dedicated customers. Because their delivery service actually delivers!!
Very speedy and professional handling of my vehicle insurance claim. They even added a panel beater to their approved listing in order to accommodate for my circumstances. This specific panel beater is closer to my home and the distance to and from them takes tremendous pressure off me with my difficult personal circumstances. Very happy with this insurer and I’ve been with them for years, for good reason.
Honestly, I was sceptical after seeing some reviews here. But it also sounded to me that most of the issues had more to do with courier experiences and possibly email settings that might identify certain addies as being spam. Neither of which is Snatchers fault. I’m pleased I went ahead and ordered. Email notifications were prompt and I was kept up to date with processing of order and provided with a link to track product delivery via courier. The products were delivered within a very short period - approx 3 days after purchase. They were securely wrapped and when the courier couldn’t get hold of me, their head office kept calling until they got through. Courier sat entire time outside my home waiting for me which really was over and beyond what they had to do. Overall, this was an amazing experience and my walls look totally fab for way less than Takealots price for same product, same bar code etc. I’m sooo pleased I gave this a try and I will be purchasing there again.
