In August 2021 I made contact with Rob Ridout and we talked about the packages he offered. I settled on the international branding package going for 23000 which we agreed to be split into three payments. I paid the first instalment of 7600. Fast forward four months down the line, I had still not received any work on my CV or part of what was to be delivered. Mid Dec they sent me a CV which was merely copy and paste from the CV drafts I handed in myself and now we are here in March 2022 and there has been no further movement. I am thoroughly disappointed, none of the numbers from the website have been working so far and they do not even respond to emails anymore. This opened my eyes to what scamming is... I feel scammed because I paid and none of the services have been provided. The whole experience has been dreadful and an utter waste of money and time.
I went to the Queenspark store in June/July and against repeatedly indicating I was not interested in an account one of the sales people was very pressing about just getting one and keeping the card for good specials. Against better judgement I filled the form and and got the card. They reversed the purchase I had made on my card and billed it to the queenspark card so that I could get a small waiver off and I thought this was good beginnings. Little did I know that I was on a slow desent to my worst frustration zone. I settled the account to avoid any latent charges, but what do you know.... A month later I was hit with a R52 bill and I was informed that this was once off. The sales lady said I should pay more of my money into the account and that I would never be charged again as long as I always had my own funds sitting there... Not a word of truth I tell you...!! Another month down the line, they now started taking chunks of my own money sitting in the account.... And surprise!!! I did not owe, this was them taking from my own funds that I had paid into the account.. Incredulous.... really!! I went into the store to lodge a complaint and no one could explain what was going on. we called 'the office' and only after 25 minutes of waiting did we get hold of someone who indicated that this was a grave error and the money would be reversed into my account.... flash forward to the next month and I am hit with the exact same charge and I go in again, now to close the account and to demand my money back- which they are brazenly chowing down with no shame. We finally get to talk to someone after about 40 minutes of waiting and they inform me that reversals will be made and closure in two weeks. Now I am sitting with a mail from Queenspark that insists that they not making full reversal of my money that they have taken from the stupid account. They want to give me half of what I originally had paid into the account, How insane is that...? and this is all without an explanation as to why they are not carrying out the full reversal of what has been practically stolen from me. I had high regard for the store, but it has completely let me down..... This is nothing short of stealing from consumers... It is pitiful... very pitiful...
