I’ve been a loyal Muscle Works customer for over a year and generally love the products. This is the first issue I’ve had. I bought a 2kg tub of 100% Whey Protein in Creamy Vanilla flavour from Takealot (order #196102237, delivered 25 November 2025). Manufacturing date 03/11/2025, best before 03/05/2027. When I opened it and mixed a shake, it tasted completely unsweetened - very plain, with no vanilla or sweetness at all. The seal was intact, no odd smells or lumps, so it seems like a possible batch problem with the flavouring or sweetener. I emailed the company on 9 December explaining the issue. I also sent them an Instagram message on 10 December and a follow-up email today (11 December), but haven’t had any reply. It’s a shame because I really like their products otherwise, but the lack of response has left me stuck with a tub I can’t use. Hoping they see this and get in touch.
The customer service I have received from Discovery in the last week is amazing. You guys get back to the customer immediately and have solved all my queries. Keep up the great work.
I paid Adrian (the owner) the deposit he asked for to start with a job. After a month of excuses and no work, I asked for my deposit back. Now I have had to hand this over to my legal representatives to get my deposit back. The worst experience I have ever had.
