I went to the MTN store to get myself an MTN Esim, I had to buy the physical sim card first to get it, so I paid R5 for the physical sim card and provided my ID and proof of address to RICA the sim card, then I had to insert the new MTN sim card into my phone to receive the new number which I did and provided to the sales agent, so that I would receive the esim number. I have received the new esim number only to be told once I started trying to make use of it that it is RICA Barred. I now have to go again to the store for what I have already rica'd it - on top of that I tried the customer care email and they gave me the steps to self-RICA an Esim. what a troublesome way to introduce this Esim. Useless online telephonic service - Never works as they want you use their useless network. can you please fix your online service as it is useless and does nothing like your employees as I have called in last year on my first attempt as I will not be going to your bank just for this
They are multiple issues with this service provider but the one that counts the most is service delivery which they lack in as it takes them a whole month before installing the pole/dish/router after you have paid and worst off when you have internet connectivity issues they are unable to immediately resolve it. Another being that currently I have requested to cancel my subscription with them and I am unable to reach them on all their listed contact details on their website. bad service.
I have been paying the debt owed on my account each month but additional collection amounts keep getting added on top of that when you inquire about the collection fee no explanation is given. This is more of a scam tactic cause each month the amount increases and now I have paid up my debt and requested a paid-up letter to which am still waiting for.
I have since ordered a landline phone in January of this year and to date, I have been allocated a landline number but no handset. I have on multiple accounts calling the sales, billing and technical departments trying to get my handset and as well as resolving my due account debt for a phone which I do not have. I will not pay for a phone which was not installed as I have been billed for a service which is not even being used. Please resolve this or I will cancel my order.
I have since settled my cheque account in August of this year through the debt collectors that absa use's and I have been to the branch as well contacted the debt collector requesting the settlement letter from them and to my surprise I was told that Absa is the one delaying the settlement letter being sent to me. I do not want to be apart of this bank no longer. Am still waiting today for that letter.
