They are ****mers. Do not talk to them or allow them into your property. JUST WALK AWAY. I was at the front gate looking for a lock in Moreleta Park. When suddenly a bakkie with “Free State” number plate stopped on my front yard and a guy named Roderick Theyser jumped out the bakkie with a spade full of manure and said he offers good service to make my lawn green. He said he will use only 1 or 2 bags of manure as it was only the front yard lawn outside. One bag costs R149. Saying that there are no labour costs and that I won’t regret. Also saying he has a strong chemical to kill ****s and make my lawn green. Before I could answer he asked for a glass of water to drink and warm water for his spray container. The bakkie looked convincing as the business logo and trademark with all details were on the left door. When I returned with the glass of water and spray container, 2 guys were spreading the manure over my lawn. They were moving so fast. By that time he was writing an invoice of R450. When the guys finished spreading compost, the invoice was R5 000, saying that he even gave me R300 discount. He wrote that he used 27 bags of manure, which is highly impossible as my front lawn is small enough for just 1 or 2 bags. He kept on pressurising me to select option of “pay and clear immediately”. We argued for a long time. I ended up paying R5 000 as I knew that these guys would perhaps use physical force or retaliate later on if I refused to pay. Later on I would realise that there was no “chemical” in those bottles, it was just plain warm water. They were pretending to have put a chemical in the spray container. I would later go to Builders Warehouse at Woodlands, and was told that there is no chemical used to make the lawn green and that one big bag of manure only costs around R230. Later on I would call the ****mer and asked why he did what he did, and for the most part he sounded dismissive and sounded like a completely different person. His tone of voice had changed also. He promised to return the following day to treat the lawn in the yard, but never showed up. Not that I wanted him to return. I would then realise that I was ****med. Later on I googled their company and it reflected that they are ****mers who have been reported to Lynwood Police Station few years back. But they are still operating for the past 13 years now. You want your lawn to be green and nice, just go buy manure and apply it yourself. The guys at Builders Warehouse will advice you very well, even about which chemicals to use for all kinds of ****s. BE CAREFUL OF LP GARDENS GROW & PEST CONTROL!!!
Very useless and unprofessional workmanship & service. Took my car to them after an accident last year via OUTsurance. When I collected the car the bumper and fender were not properly fit and made an awkward noise while driving and the taillight cover was loose. Shaun turned me back rudely until I called OUTsurance lodging a complaint. Shaun is very rude and unprofessional. Their paint started to peel off the bumper in hidden corners. Apparently no Plastic Primer was app**** and they **** to me that it was app****. Took it back to them to apply proper paint coats as paint is lifetime guarantee, they gave me a round around and got very defensive. Just discovered recently that they fitted pirate parts on my car where the accident occurred, the bumper had a crack hidden by number plate. Take your car to them at your own risk!!!! I don’t understand why OUTsurance still keeps these *****sters on their database.
I went to Supa Quick Gezina yesterday morning for a simple wheel alignment as my car's steering wheel was not in a straight position it was supposed to be in and leaning to the left hand side, and while driving my car would slightly move to the left side of the road, if for few seconds I left the steering wheel unattended. Very irritating and dangerous while driving. Upon arrival at Supa Quick Tyre Experts in Gezina, I was disappointed at the manner in which no one really was attending to me. I literally had to stand there trying to be assisted while the staff passed me by. After I was finally attended to, my car was taken into the machinery plant workstation. The machine operator called me in to explain the issue with my front left tyre on the machine, but at the same time the supervisor with a bad attitude talking on the speaker rudely kicks me out of the workstation, even though I asked one of the staff if I'm allowed to go in, and he said "No problem". My question is, why call me into the workstation if it's against company policy, and why the bad attitude? The guy changing tyres was clueless about what needs to be done, despite being given orders by the machine operator to change the tyre after alignment. He was asking me as to what he should do, despite orders from the machine operator. After opening the car boot to take out the spare tyre, my boot was left disorderly with some of my items displaced, and the used tyre not even properly tied with the *****. When I observed closely I noticed that the staff at Supa Quick Gezina are confused about their roles and are just plain incompetent as they have to second guess the work in doubt and have to ask other staff members what needs to be done. They respond harshly with a bad attitude to your every enquiry. You literally stand there while people don't know what needs to be done, but you pay for the service. Yet the say they are "tyre experts". Pathetic!!!! One guy with a white bakkie stood outside for almost an hour without being helped, and the poor guy drove off agitated to the near Tiger Wheel & Tire. I honestly couldn't blame him. After completing their pathetic work, my car was then parked at the parking bay outside, where the Supervisor drives it around the block just to observe if the problem is solved. Upon finishing the short trip, the guy just dumps the Wheel Alignment Report on the passenger seat, throws the keys at the reception, doesn't even at least interact with you to explain what the problem was in a friendly manner, and generally gives you the cold shoulder. With an offish attitude he would rather light a cigarette, smoke, press his phone and watch cars pass by Steve Biko Road. You literally have to chase people around to get what the problem was with your tyre. There really is no customer feedback you receive. I requested to speak to the manager, and was given the run around about him being busy in the office. I had to make an extra effort to even find out if the new tyre fitted was inflated to it's required tyre pressure (I told them plenty of times what the tyre pressure was). The machine operator reassured me that it was. Upon my arrival at the petrol station to fill my tank, the petrol attendant informed me that the new tyre was slightly flat and was never inflated to begin with. Terrible feeling to even think that I drove with a tyre that was under inflated, because I was lied to by the staff member at Supa Quick. A single tyre not properly inflated to it's specification, especially since my car had alignment issues, could pose fatal accident risks or further damage to the wheel alignment, all because of plain incompetence by Supa Quick Gezina. It was not only incompetence and poor work standards that I saw, I also realized that white Afrikaner customers were attended to very fast in a friendly manner and given preference and all information, while some of us have to struggle for a service we also paid for. I was referred there by a car mechanic for wheel alignment. I am not returning there for anything, that's for sure. Would rather go to other nearby places for my car and tyre needs. DISMAL SERVICE!!
Never let estate agent Amos Maaga manage you rental apartment. He will promise heaven and earth before you sign and after you enter into a rental mandate with him, he will abandon you during the course of the agreement. He is an incompetent, lazy and a pathological liar. He will let tenants move in your apartment before the official lease agreement date and not inform you, meaning you loose your pro-rata money. He schemes with tenants behind your back, drags your name into mud with them and always protects tenants and compromises your well deserved services that you pay for every month as a landlord. When your rent comes incomplete every month, he never follows up on it and claims that he is scared to call tenants and lies about referring the matter to the office. He never requests any proof of payment from tenants and lies everyday. Your apartment will be over-crowded with illegal tenants sub-renting and who don't reflect on the Lease Agreement, and he will never address this with tenants, always protecting them. An then lies to you that he was at your flat talking to them. He never checks up on your flat to see if everything is still in order (as is required by the agreement you sign and pay for). Once you terminate your rental mandate after a hard long year (their rental mandate doesn't allow for termination before 12 months) of lies and hardships, he gets angry at you and doesn't bother to inform tenants of the notice of termination, despite clear instructions to do so from his superiors and numerous calls from you as landlord inquiring if he informed them. He get's rude on the telephone, never shows up for appointments meetings and you will wait for him the whole day,, after which you report him to his office managers he will then lie to his superiors that you never showed up. All his clients complain of the same things about him. During the exit inspection conducted with the tenant, he will write lies on the inspection list that your flat is clean and with no damages, only to find that your apartment is filthy dirty and stinking and has serious damages, and you may loose the money taken from the tenant's deposit to repair damages and clean the place. An agent who cares only about commission and never cares about providing an excellent service that you pay for monthly.
