Spent about R4k at the website buying 6 t-shirts, quality was poor, communication is **** with false promises. They sell you stuff they don't quality check, one minute it's stadium versions ,the next is fan versions and the size matters on these items. They send you super **** designs. I hope their business rots in hell and they money they make from us causes them complete pain and misery.
On 23 October 2018 the pre-order sales for the Huawei Mate Pro 20 was opened by Telkom Mobile. The deal was based on a 24 Month contract for R699 pm. Included in the deal for the 1st 60 customers was a free Huawei Watch GT valued at R5 499.00. I saw the deal being advertised at 9:30 am in the morning and immediately applied online because I've been tracking the release of this phone from at least 6 months when the rumoured release was doing it's rounds on the internet. Nevertheless, around 11:30 I contacted by a polite lady by the name of Nokukhanya Shange. She had completed my online application after going to the vetting process as well as the NCR processes. She then congratulated me as my contract was pre-approved and finalized, whilst proceeding with the online application I had asked her about the watch and what number am I in terms of customers who had purchased the watch and if I was eligible to receive one. At that moment in time she had consulted her manager and was told that a count had not been done however, it was while stocks last. I then joked with her and said please ensure that I am one of the 1st 60 customers as the watch is an amazing device on it's own. In the application process I mentioned at least 2 if not more times that I would like the twilight colour of the Huawei Mate 20 pro and she confirmed that on their recorded telephone call. On the 25 October 2018 I was debited the amount of R699 without receiving the phone and at that point I used my common sense and figured that its on pre-order so obviously they wouldn't deliver it so soon. whilst waiting to hear from Telkom with respect to delivery I wanted to know if I qualified for the smar****ch so I attempted to call Telkom and no one could assist me, I then went into the Telkom store in Eastgate and a helpful gentlemen by the name of TK assisted me in trying to find out if I qualified, that was in vain because I had to still sit in a Telkom Mobile store and phone the call centre because I completed my order through their online channel. Fast forward to Friday, 2 November 2018, during the very same week I received an SMS saying that someone from the courier service will contact me to arrange delivery of my phone and I need to have my ID and Proof of residential address ready, so I began to get excited due to the fact that my new phone is coming which I waited for, for several long months. On the day of delivery (02/11/2018) I received an SMS notifying me that I will be delivered my phone, kindly have the necessary documents ready. Thankfully, being at work I had kept all those documents ready once they arrive and complete their delivery process. Mid afternoon arrived and a gentlemen delivered my phone in a box and didn't even request those documents or even confirm identity. He asked for me and said "sign this form" and he left. Anxious and excited I immediately opened the box only to find the no. 1 there was no Huawei Watch GT and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro delivered was a Black colour and not the Twilight colour and placed emphasis on when I ordered the phone. Furious and disappointed I called Telkom only to be helped by people who didn't know the details of the deal and who could not direct me to Nokukhanya. Out of desperation I contacted TK on his cell (that's customer service, giving me his personal cell number to assist me) and he said, unfortunately his on leave but I can come in tomorrow (Sunday) and he'll try and assist me in store. I did just that and again because the call centre is closed on a Sunday we got no where. I even spoke to his manager MK and the manager was so upset with how I was being treated in terms of no response or clarity on what is to happen. They recommended I phone on Monday and request and change of phone colour to the right colour and query the smar****ch as they did not know how the online section is handling the rolling out of the watch. I phoned on the Monday and spoke to Thabo Nzama, who sent an email to her and her manager and she Nokukhanya phoned me back. She confirmed that I'm eligible for the watch and when can they deliver it. she also confirmed and apologized for putting in the wrong colour code when completing my application, she then said she will arrange for the courier service to drop off the correct Twilight colour together with my Huawei Watch GT and in the same instance collect the incorrect Black Huawei Mate 20 pro. She then said she needs to send an email to her manager and will try to contact me before close of business on Monday, if not she will definitely call me on Tuesday. I received no calls or even a whisper until Wednesday when Courier IT pitched up at my office with no prior notification or consultation. They were here to collect my phone for "repairs" yes, you read right. My phone which is sealed in the box waiting to be collected and my new devices to be dropped off was now being put in line for REPAIRS by a company called Braidan Repairs. I refused to give them the phone and said sorry, go back and tell Telkom to contact me. I phone again on Tuesday, 06/11/2018 I spoke to Chantell King, who registered my concerns politely and said her manager is good her name is Sheldeen Storman and she will get someone from the relevant department to contact me. No one called, I phoned AGAIN on Wednesday and eventually spoke to Lindewe who typed out a direct internal email to Nokukhanya and CC'd her manager whilst I was on the phone explaining my grievance to her. On Thursday, 09/11/2018 I received a cold call from Nokukhanya basically asking me whats wrong. I was so infuriated and I contained myself because I did not want to address a woman in a rude tone or even use obscene language on her. She noted all my complaints and apologized profusely saying she'll email her manager and sort everything out and she'll contact me by close of business. Today is Friday, 09 November I am yet to receive a call from her. I phoned again on this day and spoke to Sinegugu who attempted to help me after demanding I speak to Nokukhanya's manager who subsequently is name Nicolene Chetty. She sent an email and now I await their response. 15 Days and counting since Telkom debited me and I can't use the phone because it's still sealed due to it being the incorrect colour. 15 Days since Telkom took my money and I still don't have my Huawei Watch GT and Huawei Mate 20 pro Twilight version. Two weeks from now they will debit me again and God knows if I will have the right devices by then. POSSIBLY THE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED !!!...Telkom, please, I am now begging on a platform ...Send me my Huawei Mate 20 Pro Twilight and Huawei Watch GT and pick up this Huawei Mate 20 Pro Black which I NEVER ORDERED IN THE FIRST PLACE :-(
