I am writing to express my concern regarding the quality of workmanship exhibited by the contractors utilized by Vumatel for fibre installations. Although I have not personally experienced any issues with my internet or Vumatel's services, a recent installation at my neighbor's property has highlighted some concerns. During the installation, the contractors were required to dig to access the fibre box located outside my property. However, upon completion of the work, they left a significant amount of concrete debris on the ground and failed to restore the area to its original state. Despite assurances that they would return to neaten the cement, no further action has been taken. I understand that the use of contractors is necessary to manage the volume of installations, but I strongly believe that it is essential to ensure that these contractors adhere to acceptable standards of workmanship and site restoration. I would appreciate it if Vumatel could emphasize the importance of tidying up after completion of work to prevent unnecessary damage to surrounding properties. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a response regarding the actions that Vumatel will take to address this issue.
Every month my wife and I buy all our meat from LMM and 3 times in a row we have been very disappointed in the sausages as they were sour... we emailed the branch over a week ago and no response from them. We spend a lot of money at the store yet we can't even get good quality meat... Very disappointed...
Santam insurance sucks. Here is my story: My wife had been driving my car to a local shopping center in August and a gentleman had knocked into her(Not giving all the details though the guy that knocked into her took the responsibility as he caused the accident). He said that he is insured by Santam and they will take care of the damages. I then got in contact with Santam and they requested all my details, Accident report, Affidavit, Pictures, etc so that they can open the case and assist me. After sending them all the details that they have requested, it took them almost 2 months to assist and get back to me. There was a consultant named Jerry and every time I contacted him, he would reply "okay sir I will call you back in 5 or 10 minutes" and i will end up waiting a week and still no call from Jerry. I was patient because my car is not insured. It got to a point were I realized that Santam is not doing anything to assist me so I spoke to the manager and she then helped me and told me she received my documents and she will send it to the legal department. Eventually my information and was passed on and I waited. After waiting another month, Santam emails me and says "there will be no payment made to, please see attached"... When I open the document, Santam works on a 60/40 settlement. That I understand, but what Santam does not realize is that their client caused the accident and they had fully repaired his vehicle. My vehicle had been parked off for 3 months not being used and eventually had to repair it out of my own pocket... I emailed Santam asking if there is anything that they can do to assist me as my car is not insured and their client knocked into my wife and they are liable to pay me some sort of settlement for the damages of my vehicle but till today I have not received an email to help. When I try calling them then I keep getting transferred to different departments... They are never willing to help. I was in the process of getting vehicle and household insurance and I will never deal with Santam and give them business nor will I recommend them to anyone. Its pathetic...
Never again will I ever use Tempest Car Hire again... January 2018, my company hired a car for me from Tempest due to my company car being repaired. The car was hired for the whole month of January. At the end of Jan, there was a gentleman that bumped into the back fender of the vehicle and when I called Tempest, they said to go to the police station so that I can file a report and get a report number. In doing so, I contacted them and they came to collect the vehicle and checked the damages and they said that they will be in touch. I paid R1 500 as a deposit on the first day of collection of the vehicle. After collecting the vehicle, they contacted me saying that i need to pay R3000 damage and I wont be getting the R1500 back until the insurance sorts out the issue. Just note that they kept calling and texting me reminding me that I owe them money and they will pay me all the money back . It is now November and I have not had any help from the company. I have provided all details, pictures and accident report number to Tempest and they will not help me in refunding me. I don't understand how they keep clients if they cannot keep them happy...
