Had a similar experience at Hiker’s Paradise as Betsy. On my first visit middle 2020 I also got sold one of their most expensive hiking boots, while she pushed lotions, socks and sandals on me. I recently contacted them as the soles of my boots were coming loose. Leni handled the whole matter as an enormous inconvenience to her, and all my questions got answered with very curt and clipped tones. Upon enquiring a few days later on the process of the replacement boot, I was handled in the same way upon which I explained to her I have a big hike coming up and I need to know I will have new boots. Again, the condescending attitude with irritation clear in her voice. So I got my replacement boots, poor Memory tried to save the day, but I will never go back to Hiker’s Paradise. I don’t need to feel like a low-life irritation when spending my money.
Paid and ordered on 04/09/2020. Delivery scheduled for friday 11/09/20 - 18/09/20. I am unable to get hold of them telephonically, and no answer to my emails.

So I booked tickets online yesterday for the 12:00 show at Brooklyn through the Ster Kinekor app. When we got to Brooklyn Mall just before 12, they experienced load shedding. Speaking to the rather unhelpfull staff at the movies, they just said I must phone Ticketline for a refund. I asked if we could get the popcorn and cold drinks, but they said I needed a slip. I phoned the Ticket line now to ask for a refund. I am being told it is past the showtime, so they cannot do a refund it has to be done manually by finance. I have to send an email, with my bank statement, confirming the charges went off. And a bunch of other details. So please explain to me where is the customer service in this? I support Ster Kinekor, yet now to be able to get my money back I need to provide them with proof that I bought the tickets, in order to be refunded. Customer Service at it's worst!
