Hi there, End of September I had a call from this person selling me a dstv decoder. Firstly I was under the impression it was from dstv as I have never heard of a company called OnAir. He told me that because I was a special customer they are giving me this special of paying only R299 on a new. 24 month contract and a decoder. I told him that I am a premium customer and is paying well over R1000 for my monthly subscription, will I only be paying R299 and not the subscription as well he said yes. I didn't jusy ask him once but a few times and he agreed so went ahead with the formalities and I agreed to it. The decoder was delivered on the 30/10/25. On the same day I thought before I open the decoder let me first confirm if the info I was given is correct. I spoke to a lady by the name of Catherine and she told me I will still have to pay the monthly subscription plus R299 for 24 months for the decoder. I was not happy because I believe that is not the information I was given and asked her to cancel the contract immediately and they can collect their decoder, I was told that they first have to investigate the telephone conversation and will get back to me between 7-15 working days. We'll is now well over that period it's actually going onto almost 2months and I have had no feedback from them. I actually called the customer care a few times and all they tell me is that the matter is still under investigation. Well really. I am desperate to have this contract canceled because I am a pensioner and cannot afford the additional chargers and also calculating R299 over a period of 24months means I will be paying over R6000 for a decoder. I think it's a **** and they catch us innocent people with this. The ref no. 6440914 is what the gave me. Please I will really a appreciate your assistance in this matter Mrs Shirley Gabier
I saw the advert on Facebook went into it and it advertised a free sample and that you only pay for the courier which I did. I never saw any other pricing and only intended to get the free sample. Two tubs an eye cream and a day cream was delivered in a couple of days which I thought was the sample there was no invoice or contact details with the parcel. When I checked my credit card this morning two big amounts was taken by Jouvence. R1354 and R1297 if which I never agreed to. I only agreed to the courier amount as it was advertised for the sample. Is this the way of coning people into a sale which they never agreed to. There are no contact details to get in touch with them either. I cannot afford such expensive creams and would never agree to this so I request that my money is returned to me.
