Disappointing service.
Our experience at Grass Roof was disappointing due to several issues with service and communication. Firstly, the service was slow, and our waiter seemed unsure about menu options. We had to repeatedly ask for information about the curry of the day. As a table of three, we ordered burgers and specifically requested no salad, opting for chips instead. However, we were not informed that chips were unavailable until our food arrived with salad. When we requested to replace the salad with onion rings, we were initially told we’d need to pay extra. Only after speaking to the manager was this issue resolved. To make matters worse, we later saw a neighboring table being served chips. Upon inquiry, we were told they were “children’s chips,” which felt inconsistent and unfair. Additionally, an umbrella fell on my friend and me during our meal. Despite this incident, no staff or management came to assist us—a fellow customer had to step in. When we raised this with the manager, we received no apology or acknowledgment. The manager just stood there with a smirk on her face. Overall, the lack of communication, inattentive service, and disregard for customer experience made this visit very disappointing. Improvements in management and staff training are necessary to avoid such incidents in the future.

Liquid peanutbutter
I have just opened a brand new jar of Yum Yum untra creamy Peanutbutter only to find that is is pure liquid. Expires December 2019! Not impressed at all!

Horrible service at Baywest
I am utterly dissapointed in the service offered at Baywest American Swiss. My boyfriend and I purchased a ring from them, this is to be a Christmas gift. Not once did they offer to allow me to try the ring on. When we asked if the ring could be resized they said yes. We then went to another branch where we were told that resizing can only be done for 2 sizes up or 2 sizes down. And we needed 4 sizes up! We then went back Baywests branch and asked if they didnt have a bigger size, and were told that they would look in the back room. After waiting several minutes the women returned and when I asked if they had a bigger size she said she could go look in the back, where she was supposed to have just been!!! There is a lack in communication with their customers and absolutely no enthusiasm to help customers either. I would strongly recommend that no one ever go to Baywest American Swiss.
