I placed a take away order at 20h00 on 03.03.2023. They said they are going to call me back when it is ready. It is now 22h25 with no call being received. Do you think that I can still be hungry?

<div>Poor communication and service. Upon renewal irrelevant information was communicated that could have cost me a lot of money if I would have blindly followed the "good advice". When I challenged them on it the broker took almost a month to get back to me and then on top of it gave notice than she will not be acting as my broker anymore. I reported the incident to the office manager and have not yert received a response from him or anyone from his office. It is 48 hours now. </div>
<div>I have recently moved from Cape Town to Ladysmith on 31.08.2020. The service provided by Stuttaford Van Lines was completely unsatisfactorily. A list of about 20 items were broken and not handled with the necessary care. Especially sentimental items like very precious handmade porcelain dolls and a miniature rocking chair that was hand made were broken. When off loading the teamleader was swinging the already broken miniature rocking chair around in the air with absolutely not a care in the world. They arrived late on the morning of the unpacking while I have requested them to be early. They only arrived at 11h00 and could not enter the pan angle yard with their truck. This was blamed on me as the customer, since I should have advised them that they will not be able to access, yet I have no information about their driver's driving skills. In my opinion their was more than enough space to enter, but the driver did not want to and they had to carry the goods quite a distance to the house which was a further delay and caused the workers to be on "slow-go". I made them aware of this the following day, but they are just of the opinion that I should have advised them that they would not be able to enter. They apparently do no have access to Google to check the address for themselves and access the capabilities of their driver. They expect the customer to take responsibility for all of this. They did not unpack a single box which were their responsibility. The teamleader asked if my 2 cleaners that I have arranged for the day to clean the cupboards could do the unpacking??? At 19h00 that evening they were ready to leave and brought me their sign off lists, while the bulk of the boxes were not even opened yet. I asked the teamleader to show me where my drill is at that point and he could not, yet he insisted that I must sign the documents and left. Only after I made the powers to be aware of this the following did they came back to me after 3 weeks to apologise and offered (too late) assistance. I also wrote on the inventory listings that the unpacking was incomplete, only to realise afterwards how dishonest their teamleader was: He went and took a few of the box numbers down and wrote them in afterwards to make it look like only those few boxes were not unpacked and told his boss that I have requested them not to unpack those!!!!! Due to me being single and have a full day time job, I were only able to unpack the rest of the boxes over weekends and were therefore not in a position to identify all the missing goods immediately although I have indicated on the inventory listings that the unpacking was not completely done and informed them already the following day about me not being satisfied with their service. There were several missing items identified afterwards for which Stuttafords and the insurance are both just pulling up their shoulders and do not want to take any responsibility for their contribution in these lost items. Between each communication the took weeks before they came back on only after several follow ups will they get back to you with an unsatisactorily answer. I will not recommend Stuttaford Van Lines services to anybody in future, since they are promising you the world, but do not deliver on it and are a very dishonest company to deal with. </div>
Please be careful. I have paid this guy a deposit on 21.11.2018 already and the 3 day job for exterior painting is still not complete (26.12.2018). Everyday a new excuse and new promise and then he does not show up as promised. His "partners" have also left and does not want to do business with him anymore.
