This business misled us and took our investment many years ago...now they won't pay us back or take our calls. The owner is enjoying a life of luxury while elderly and low income people have not received any profits from this investment in the past 6yrs. We are pushed from pillar to post and nobody has the courtesy to assist us. We want our investment back with interest.... #BlackFriday
I wish to make public the extremely pathetic service we have received from the appliance repair business situated at 140 Hannaford Drive, Mount Edgecombe. While we are strong advocates for supporting small businesses this experience has left us very bitter. This business charged us to repair our fridge. The fridge has never worked since they returned it to us in January 2020. The invoice states a 3yr workmanship guarantee and to this date after dozens of calls they have yet to keep to their promise. The service is appalling and the lady, Shantal, that answers the phone never provides updates, never returns calls and never follows up even though she knows how upset we are. The Manager Jay Singh was meant to meet us at 11:30am on a Public Holiday that we had to change plans for and never bothered to show up or apologise. There have been other days as well where we would wait for them and they will not show up. The fridge is standing here for 9mnths and they will not even refund us our money so that we can get another company to look at it. This has caused us much inconvenience over the months when we had to buy extra items due to the Pandemic and had no storage space to keep them. I will not recommend this business to anybody and wish to warn others about this business.
I purchased a lifetime membership package with Shaw Academy over a year ago. Since that day, I am unable to register for any courses as it will not allow me past the 'login' screen. I have lodged numerous complaints with their support team and get an automoated reply with "FAQ" that does not help me or my problem. In the reply is a note to upgrade my package or an additional cost in order to get personal assistance. I am really and truly dissappointed as I outlayed the money and have todate been unable to do any of the courses.
