I made a booking at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Umhlanga on the 24th April at around 16h00. Upon my arrival to check in, it was found that I had selected the wrong date (15 May). Unfortunately they couldn't accommodate me as they were fully booked. The next day I cancelled my booking but it said their would be no refund. I then proceeded to see if there would be an option for a refund and one did appear- which I selected. Once the cancellation had been done, I was informed that my refund would be R26, from the R2668 that I had laid. I contacted the hotel to inform them of my situation. They responded stating they have a zero refund policy and there was nothing they could do. I further pleaded with them asking them to please reinstate my booking if a full refund wasn't possible. They responded saying, "I'm the one that cancelled the booking, so there is nothing they can do". They then informed me if I have any further queries, I must contact bookings.com directly. I contacted bookings.com and they said their hands were tied and it was in the hands of the Radisson Blu. I really understand the no cancelation policy for dates closer to the check-in date, but in my situation when the booking was in +/- 21 days time, in all my life I had never encountered such. My booking was made in error as I tried to Beek for the 24th April and somehow may was selected. Worst case scenario, if you don't want to refund me, then please reinstate my booking. R2668 is a lot of money and it would be really unfair to punish someone in such a cruel manner.

Just disturbed with investment made for shares as part of Vivian Moodleys initiative. A waste of time and I have heard NOTHING about shares etc. Just refund my cash with interest

Today I was excited to visit the FIRE LAKE restaurant as it was my birthday. After watching a TIKTOK video My Daughter called the hotel and wanted to make a reservation but was told there was no need for a booking as you can just walk in. When we arrived at the Fire Lake restaurant we were greeted by a Lady at the entrance and was asked for the room number.We told her that we were not staying at the Hotel and she rep**** that there was no walk in as they were fully booked.She said that she received strict instructions not to allow anyone not staying at the hotel.She was very unpolite as we asked if we could speak to the manager and she refused. We then left and went to the Blue Waters Hotel where we received a warm welcome and had a lovely meal. We callled the Radisson Blue and spoke to Raeesa to explain our experience.She said it was not right and would pass the message to the manager and he would call. We called twice as no response was received and still await for the manager to call. Its such a shame for Radisson Blu .

This business misled us and took our investment many years ago...now they won't pay us back or take our calls. The owner is enjoying a life of luxury while elderly and low income people have not received any profits from this investment in the past 6yrs. We are pushed from pillar to post and nobody has the courtesy to assist us. We want our investment back with interest.... #BlackFriday

I have a problem I made a booking on the radisson website last night 28/03/2025 for two nights 28 & 29/3/2025. The response said quickly make a booking because we have last minute special, pay within 10 minutes, R3700 without breakfast and R4200 with breakfast. Because I was driving on N3 with my wife and it was already after 21h30 & we needed a hotel with 24hrs as we were driving from Estcourt, I showed my wife the prices as she was the one driving, we agreed on the one without breakfast as we were going to drive to RICHARDS BAY in morning, we just needed food for the night. I chose to pay R3700, as it was their international site of Radisson, they converted to dollars in bank APP without checking. the conversion to rands. To my surprise they took over R11000 from my card. I quickly phoned umhlanga Radisson hotel, they said I must come, they will sort it when I get there. Fine we got the,they called the manager & we waited for her 30 minutes. She came and started blaming my booking. Com, I told her I didn't use my booking. Com & my booking. Com does take money, they make a reservation and you pay the exact agreed price at the hotel. They said i must check in & they were going to sort the matter in the morning since I said I will look for another hotel cause I need my full refund, they requested me to check in as they were going to sort the matter in the morning. The morning came, up to now they are running around, have no solution & they bul**** me to check in for Over R11k ,now they are running away from resolving the matter and they are hiding with my booking. com who are not part of this booking since I didn't use them. I used Radisson website to book. I really need help urgently, as all my plans for the weekend have been spoiled financially by them.

Then she through our menus on the table and left With explain if they have an specials or anything. The staff basic they service on how you look and they sees if you are worth being given a good service or not

We checked in to the Radisson Blu Umhlanga last week Friday. The facilities are good but the rooms lack ventilation and the side sea ocean view, gosh it’s a side for sure. We wanted to order in room service but was told there is no breakfast menu after around 4 calls being pushed form pillar to post and over an hour later we were sent a horrible piece of paper that didn’t even appeal to order from. We left and ate elsewhere. We were overcharged for the room and it’s a week later with no refund. I have tried to call but gets pushed from one call to another with no assistance.

The front desk staff are very RUDE and unprofessional! My husband booked at the hotel for a business trip this past week cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. He had to call house keeping to clean his room on Friday and Saturday because on both days he would arrive at the hotel and his room was not cleaned. On check out he left his charger in the room and he called the hotel to let them know and his still waiting for feedback about his charger. So in essence housekeeping found the charger and didn't report it to the front office??
