Today I was excited to visit the FIRE LAKE restaurant as it was my birthday. After watching a TIKTOK video My Daughter called the hotel and wanted to make a reservation but was told there was no need for a booking as you can just walk in. When we arrived at the Fire Lake restaurant we were greeted by a Lady at the entrance and was asked for the room number. We told her that we were not staying at the Hotel and she rep**** that there was no walk in as they were fully booked. She said that she received strict instructions not to allow anyone not staying at the hotel. She was very unpolite as we asked if we could speak to the manager and she refused. We then left and went to the Blue Waters Hotel where we received a warm welcome and had a lovely meal. We callled the Radisson Blue and spoke to Raeesa to explain our experience. She said it was not right and would pass the message to the manager and he would call. We called twice as no response was received and still await for the manager to call. Its such a shame for Radisson Blu .
We have purchased from this branch of KFC Umhlanga Rocks Drive twice via Uber Eats. The chicken seemed to be refried and had no taste, mash and grave was dry. The worst chicken I have ever eaten .KFC is not what it used to be.
I ordered items from Temu and from the 30September 2025 I received an email stating that my package was out on delivery. On the 2nd of October a driver from GFS express called me to say that the package he has was damaged and he took it back to the Depot. I have made several calls to GFS EXPRESS and they are very unhelpful .They speak a lot of lies about package is waiting for a driver to deliver.I When I track parcel it states delivery failed rescheduled with customer but I was never advised and they never tried to deliver. I am still waiting for someone to contact me .The worst courier company.
I have a 2year sim contract for data and another for airtime which should expire in February 2025.I've been a loyal client for over 20year with Vodacom. I may have been late with payments due to the nature of my business as I am self employed but made sure that I paid all due amounts. Last month my service was suspended which cause a huge setback for my business. However I did a payment on the 10th October 2024. On Friday 11th October 2024 I called Vodacom and spoke to and agent. She told me that only when I pay the next months amount then only my service will be restored.I asked her a question which was if I had not received any service from Vodacom why should I pay. She insisted the Vodacom was providing a service to me and refused to understand and insisted that I have to pay. Also she started mentioning that in 2022 and in 2023 I have missed a payment which had nothing to do with the current situation . I was unable to use my phone and still cannot make any calls due to the suspension. I now have to pay Vodacom for a service they NEVER provided .This is a *******. Very disappointed with Vodacom.
I received a call from Khumalo Masondo Attorneys Inc.advising me that I did not pay my TV License for two years and have been handed over. Last year another attorney called me stating I did not pay for two years.I id two payments one on the 17th July 2022 and the other on the 21 August 2022. According to me I was up to date as no one contacted me after the payments. It is rather disappointing that SABC have such incompentent people working for them that they could hand you over to the Attorneys but cannot send a reminder or some correspondence to advise that the TV License is due . I don't understand that I am now AGAIN in arrears for TWO years and have been requested to pay R795 which is R265 for 2years and R265 penalty. Very disappointed.
I had my landline cancelled in 2018 and now I am hounded by Nu Debt management stating that I owe Telkom and have to pay immediately. I don't understand how the people who work for Telkom cancel my line and then say after three years decide I still owe them an amount for services not rendered. Pathetic.
We purchased a AEG washing machine on the 10April 2021from Makro Springfield. After the first wash we found the clothes to be soapy and complained to Makro. The sales assistant said she couldn't assist and we need to contact AEG,but assured us that was the right product we were purchasing and we would not have any problems. We tried several times to contact AEG/Electrolux and eventually was asked to email all details. Makro took it upon themselves to put up a rating which I was unaware of. So when you see a product advertised by Makro with 5star rating it is not necessarily true as the sales persons ask for you for you details details so that they can put a rating as if you did. Very disappointing with the after sales service from Makro Springfield.
ABSA & Anthony Richards & Associates scammers I had a personal loan with ABSA which was handed over to Anthony richards & Associates. Last year a consultant called me in October and said that ABSA was offering a 20% discount and I could pay the balance over six months which I agreed to. I asked for the agreement to be put in writing and an sms was sent to me which stated Mr CN Naidu .confirmation of ABSA payment plan R2429.14. I paid for three months and on the 21st January 2021 I received a call from a consultant asking me to sign up for a debit order which i refused . On the 22nd January 2020 I received a NOTICE OF DEFAULT letter which stated that Anthony Richards & Associates were acting on behalf of ABSA bank. It stated that according to the National credit act I have not met my obligations in respect of the agreement. I called Anthony Richards & Associates and spoke to Shireen who told me that she needs to listen to recordings as there are no records of any agreement. I received an email on the 26th January 2021 from Ghusna Kamaldien which states that I need to pay R163.742725. Again I queried this and was told that a Supervisor will call me. 26th Jan 2021 I received an SMS stating Confirmation of ABSA payment R2429.14 due today. I called again and was told that A Supervisor will call me. I sent and detailed email on the 29th Jan 2021 and to date have not received any replies either telephonically or email. It is disappointing that ABSA uses people which dont know what they are doing. 28th Jan 2021 another email sent asking me to pay R163.75. 29 th January 2021 I sent an email to Anthony Richards & Associates but to date no answer. 04th February 2021 -I received an email from ABSA reads "Dear Mr Naidu ,please note that for your convenience,we have made your Personal Loan statement available on the ABSA APP..Auth FSP/NCRCP7.

My wife Mrs.R .Naidu took out a personal loan with ABSA and ran into difficulty with payments .The account was handed over to Nortan attorneys who made arrangements to pay this account .Last year we were contacted by an agent from Norlam stating that ABSA was offering a 20% discount. The amount outstanding was R7813.76 and after the discount the amount was R6251.01which was to be paid in four monthly instalments of R1562.75. Payment was done in December2019 ,January ,February 2020.Due to the lockdown we were only able to pay in June 2020 when we got back to work.We spoke to and agent before payment was done who gave us the final amount of R1615.33 which was paid on the 26June 2020.She also stated that after payment the account will be closed. On the 16th August 2020 we received a statement from ABSA stating that we owe R2973.07. We called Norlam attorneys and spoke to Christopher Ramahlodi who says we never accepted the discount offer. He further said he checked the recordings and when asked about the recording of the June 2020 conversation with an agent he conveniently cannot find it. Why did nobody query the amount that paid in December/Jan and Feb.Why would we pay a specific amount if we were not asked to? ABSA and the attorneys are dishonest and trap people into believing they are offering discounts but when paid up they now want the balance of payment including interest. DISAPPOINTED .
