I’m writing this review with livid emotions. A consultant from the TV license department named GEMELI calls that I’m owing R500 of the tv license and I mentioned that I’ve made arrangements yet it’s not mine and if I recall it was R397 I mentioned that I’m unemployed. The lady proceeds to bully me that I should pay it I proceed to tell that I made arrangements she goes on to yell & threaten me that legal action will be taken against me!!! I really don’t appreciate being treated like a ******** due to my circumstances , kindly assist with this matter . The number that called is as follows +27 (76) 109-8566

I paid my tv licence on 18/2/2016. I wanted to buy a tv online in April. This was declined as they advised that SABC would not confirm I had renewed my licence. I phoned them at least 4 times over 2 days. They don't answer their phones and after about 5/6 minutes of hearing that your call is important to them you are cut off. Then decided that sending an email would get a better response but no reply ever received I also emailed their complaints department and similarly no reply received. In desperation I bought another Tv licence through a retailer ie I now twice paid for a 2026 licence. I will not be paying next year. I can now understand why people don't bother paying Tv licences.

For the life of me, please can you guys cancel my license as you should have 6 years ago and STOP harrassing me. I have called your office a million times, no answser, Nudebt confirms that there was a cancelation. PLEASE STOP HARRASSING ME AND MY FAMILY

I have informed the SABC that i sold my TV - they asked for an avidavit which I did - and emailed them the new owner's details - now I am being threatned by them with legal action - this is what you get when you have a 30% pass rate and want to work in finances. They can't even read an email let alone open an attachement with the proof that this has been sold.
