With Black Friday I had a pleasant experience at Checkers in George. Paddagat Checkers. Was so amazed to see oxtail for only R89 p/kg and not at the normal price like other places R139 to r149 p/kg. The staff was so friendly and even when I wanted rump steak at R129.99 k/kg the butcher even let me choose the piece of rump steak and how I wanted it. Was very nice.
In September went to the branch to apply for a credit card increase. 2nd October MIE mailed me wanting bank statements and my id which I did send. Then followed up 23 October. Now 19 Nov and no feedback. That'd bad service. Ref 139617678
#blackfriday at Takealot. Also so nice for me to order through them.. Got my last items even 2 days earlier. People at the pick up place is also very friendly.
During December did a deal on a car but in the end the plan changed and with the managers' assistance and others at the dealer. There involvement and final decision was on another car with all the bells and whistles. No more secondhand but a brand new car even with a lot of friendliness and professionalism from them at this dealer. So excellently they took me as a customer's requirements and happiness absolutely into consideration. Wonderfully done by them all at the dealer in Worcester. I recommend them gladly.
Skhumbuzo Mungwe has assisted me greatly with the change on my personal insurance...from one car to the next one. He explained very good and in an understandable way....can see he fits the MMI profile.
Opened a funeral plan with Absa April month. Was told to email proof of the canceled funeral plan with Fnb on 29 April to polserv@absa.co.za. I did that and got email back that they did receive it. I took the funeral plan as Absa said that I'd I give proof that I canceled my other funeral plan then they waive the 6 months waiting period. I also sent them proof of the fnb plan like when it started and then cancelation letter. On 7 May I sent a follow up email as I did not heard from Absa Insure and until today I still do not know if the waiting period has been waived. It is very bad service and it looks like it is in them not to confirm speedily. So Absa insure please confirm as I did give proof end April of the dnb plan and the dnb canceled letter.
Last year October the 16th send SABC email notifying them that I do not have a TV anymore and have prior canceled DSTV on which I use to watch SABC and want them to cancel de it order. I only realised now they never canceled the debit order as there was just on 20 May a debit order for license fee. It was the time last year when my mother passed away. That was also the reason for canceling. The main point is they never stopped/canceled the debit order and worse SABC never bothered to communicate back to me. So SABC cancel it. From: Gavin Christopher <gavincminnie@gmail.com> Date: Wed, 16 Oct 2024, 09:30 Subject: Question about tv licence To: <tvlic.info@sabc.co.za> Good day I no longer have DSTV to watch like SABC channels. Canceled it a while ago. With new modern technology I watch Netflix and stuff on YouTube from a computer screen. In the light of this how do I cancel my TV license? Hope to hear from you soon. I decided to open a Woolworths card after receiving notification that I am pre selected. The info said if you open an account and spend min R1 000 and more you will receive R1 000 cash. I opened account and bought things. Then I enquired about it and was told I met the criteria on an email from Jamie-Lee Arendse telling me also it is a voucher that will be loaded to my card/account by 7 May. 7 May is today and it is not on the App. Anyway that is one part of the problem....the other part is I asked in another mail other questions and was told on 6 May by Chandre Dudley that it is not a voucher but cash and it will be loaded onto my store card account....so when is this happening as Mother's day is around the corner and I want to go buy something. So I am getting different answers to the same question how do I get and when this R1 000 cash when opening the account after buying for R1 000 and more. Also it happened twice that I sent email asking 2 or 3 things and I only get an answer on one of the questions. Then I have to send again an email to get the answer/s. So please Woolworths come on now and tell me what is what as you are making me angry with two different answers Since then confusing mesaages
First week April I contacted Wesbank as there is a bit extra money I paid in and it is not used towards instalment. So I asked Wesbank. They then on 3rd April confirmed the lesser amount will be deducted but when 28 April came Wesbank still took the full normal monthly amount. I called and spoke to a Lee. She explained anytime by 6 May I will get a sms notification as she said that extra money I paid in on the account will then be paid to my bank. On 4 May I send an email to follow up and had no reply on that mail. Today is the 7th and still no response or money paid to my bank account. I even mailed Wesbank proof of my bank info which also shows the incorrect amount they. Just want to know why are they not responding on an email especially when the state in emails that I am a valued customer. Is this the way to tread valued customers?
Not a pleasure getting new vodacom s90 router. A week now and hardly any joy from it. Must switch it on and off repeatedly. No signal in room next to where is stands. Even sit right next to it on couch trying to watch TV. Just circle on TV. Even on my phone and although I am sitting next to router with all lights 3 blue and one green I have to switch to data. Then I plug in my old router and no issues. I moved from flat 9 to flat 2. That can't be the issue or can it? I don't think so as old router is also lte and works 100%. Bedroom is like 4 meters away from routerand no usage/signal if on new router. My private replies gets ignored cannot call as vodacom blocked me to call them.
