After posting a complaint on hellopeter, Direct Axis were very quick to respond and my issues rectified to my satisfaction. Just sad you have to go this route to start with
DO NOT Pay your TV licence with Nu Debt they will give you a settlement figure but SABC will refuse to accept the deal once you have paid.
Do Not pay Nu Debt any money for outstanding TV licences, especially if they offer you a discount. A couple of months later they will start harassing, threaten you, phone you at crazy hours of the day. Even when they investigate and agree your account is settled you will still get calls from other consultants. when you question it they put the phone done on you. Don"t worry you will get another call within a couple of hours.
DO NOT take out a loan with direct axis. they will not honour their contract. the interest rates will destroy your financial well being.. you will struggle to get bank finance.
I settled my accounts with them when they offered me a consolidation deal. To date this has not been actioned and the credit houses have not been notified. Do not do any deals telephonically.
I was offered and upgraded contract they set up a debit order and debited my bank account but I never received the contract. When I followed up I was told it would take 4 days that was 2 weeks ago. Do not sign up telephonically with them or their associated companies.
If you want a bank with service do not use ABSA. Even if they give you a manager to look after your account,, nothing will be done. Be ready to make loads of phone calls and emails with no feedback. Computers will automatically debit your account with no chance of being refunded. Don't believe the adverts for their business account rates
My credit card account was settled over 3 years ago and confirmed by their staff today, yet it is still showing as outstanding on the credit bureau. I have requested a settlement letter twice before, with no response. When I requested it again today, the phone was put down. I left a call back for this company 3 weeks ago and I'm still awaiting a reply. I called again 2 weeks ago and spoke to an agent who said she'd call me back, still waiting. How do I get them to send a settlement letter so as to clear my credit rating? Please, if anyone can assist, it would be much appreciated.
I would suggest you only use this company as a last resort.they have no customer service the staff are arrogant and will take every opportunity to charge extra. If you have a query or issue you will not get any help or feedback. It should be noted that this has been my personal experience and might not be the norm
