Sold my vehicle to them. Outstanding service - slick, streamlined, attentive staff. I dealt with Michaela and Saajid from the Cape Town branch. They were both professional and communicated well. They took care of the whole process and relieved me of the administrative aspect. Last but not least, the price they offered was significantly better than two other similar companies that I approached. I’ll definitely be a returning customer, whether to buy or sell a vehicle.
First time the item was received in a damage state to prevent even an attempt at assembly. It was replaced although after a significant period of time. The holidays during April ultimately meant I only received the replacement more than a month later. For a number of reasons, I have only just come to try to assemble the replacement item. This time I was almost able to complete it, however, there were some missing and undersized holes for parts to be slotted together. By this point I don’t even remember through which company I ordered the product so this combined with the number of months that have passed, I doubt whether I could get any recourse. So I will have to find someone who can drill the necessary holes so that I can complete assembly. So my advice? Steer clear unless you have handyman skills that can correct defects otherwise you are wasting your time and money.
Dotsure make the signing up process incredibly quick and easy. The consultant offered good advice on which package to choose rather than just trying to persuade me to sign up for the most expensive. They communicate well and the claims process is well set out, quick and efficient. Payment of the claim was made within 24 hours. I would very much recommend them!

Quick to sign you up with offers of a new Explora and free installation and get your monthly debit order of R119 but no actual follow up in terms of the product. No sign of an installer in 3 months. I tried to contact them after the first debit order went off (and I reversed it) after the first month. When the second debit order went off, I cancelled the debit order and once again tried multiple mediums to contact them. No success until now but only to be told that the cancellation period has expired. The lack of response seems to be strategic now! So it would seem that they are still expecting payment except they are in breach of the contract. My advice, if you receive a call and hear the words OnAir, run for your life. At best they are a company that does not have the resources and infrastructure to roll out the deal they are offering and at worse they are massive scammers fobbing the South African public blind!
