Took an iPhone 13 in to get a battery replaced due to it swelling. Saturday, no stock but in the region of about R1300. Took the phone back on Monday, all of a sudden the microphone needs to be replaced, casing, battery and an estimate R9000. First question that was asked to me is do I have insurance? After arguing that it is ridiculous, iStore Centurion was not willing to assist. To add to this their attitude is poor and very unhelpful. I immediately drove to iStore Woodlands where they informed us that the battery is under replacement program. Ran a diagnostic and 1 hour later, I walked out with a replacement battery at ZERO cost. Went back to iStore Centurion to confront them about this. I initially tried to get the previous diagnostics from them however as it was fixed at Woodlands and they did not want to provide it. Before I told them that the phone was fixed at Woodlands they manager said that she will give a quote on a new phone as it is on promotion. I had a similar indecent with a MacBook Pro for a keyboard replacement under replacement program. They sent it to the service center (Core Group) and apparently could not fix as there were "water damage". Took it to iStore Mall of Africa, on the same day, which sent to the same service center (Core Group) and picked it up repaired 7 days later. I have informed my insurance company that this store seemingly inflates prices to claim more from insurance to purchase new devices and any claims should be monitored. Insurance broker also claims that they boosting sales an it will be reported. Needless to say, I will never set foot in iStore Centurion again!!! Just poor, poor, poor service and unacceptable business practices and to say the least "*********".
This "General Practitioner" is charging ridiculous amounts for consultation fees just because they are located in the emergency rooms, but during normal office hours. We went there because our home GP was fully booked. Then you have to pay the hospital account over and above. Avoid them at all costs as I will not go there again.
