I bought a wardrobe from Fair Price on the 27/10/2020 and I informed that it would take two weeks and they will call me to deliver the wardrobe. Two weeks later they call me and tell me that it would take another two weeks, I told the lady on the phone that I can't wait for two I will come in tomorrow and I will apply for my refund. She then informed me that I will not get it immediately they will give a date on when to come. I was given the 17/11/'20 and when I got there Tisetsho Mphahlele said he does not have the money. I then proceeded to ask how can that be because you wrote in your book that I will have to come today to get my money. Well I don't have it you will have to come back on another or call us. I told him that I will not call they must call me because the fault is on their side so he took my number. I went back to the store on a Sunday morning and he told me he does not have the money I must wait, I asked wait until when he couldn't answer. He then told me I should've called them and then told him that you took my number yet you never called me. In callous manner he told me he forgot to call sorry he! I told him you can't be serious are you retarded all you can tell is that you are sorry. He then told I must take it up with whoever furniture Ombudsman or whoever he does not care. I called their head office on 0877402101 and there is no answer since Wednesday 18/11/'20 until today 23/11/'20.
On the 14th of February on a Friday I bought a fridge at Game Reds Mall, they told that the fridge I wanted is out of stock they even sold their display. So I inquired if I can pay for the fridge because the following I won't be around, and they told me I can and it will probably be delivered on the 20th to the 22nd. I called them on the 086 142 6058 to inform that my phone has been run over by my vehicle and it is damaged so can they change the phone number for the delivery and a salesman named Patrick told me that my girlfriend had already phoned informing them. To my surprise when I arrived home on the 22nd the fridge was still not delivered. I called up Game and they put me through to the same salesman which I spoke too and said he doesn't know what's going on he will call me back after five minutes. I called him back after ten minutes he told that he has not forgotten about me he will call me back. After thirty minutes I called him back because he had not returned my call once again and he told me they had not changed my number to my girlfriend's number he doesn't know what happened. But he will change it right away this was on Saturday, Sunday I called him asking for the time it will be delivered he told me I will first get a text informing of when the delivery will take place on Monday. On Monday afternoon around 15H30 I called asking for the salesman and I was told he is on lunch they took my details promised to get back to me and they never did. Today around 12H00 a received a text saying that I will receive a text informing that I will receive an text telling me that I will receive a secondary text informing me when the delivery will take place. Called them again around 16H00 and I was transferred to Patrick and he never answered the phone but I hearf the lady transferred me calling him in the background before she put me through. I'm still waiting after 11 days
<p>The company is a ***, they cancelled my order last on the 5th of December so I called on ********** 336 and call told me I would get my refund in 3 business days. I called them on the 4th day and then they told me that I would get it in 7 business days, thereafter I called them back and then they told me I would get it in 21 business days. Sent them countless emails to no avail, until I the call centre four times on the same day asking them as to what is going on? The call centre assured me that my refund is being processed and he even sent me an email stating so. After 53 days I still haven't received my money back. I even emailed Appliance House UK to find out if they are a parent company, and told within minutes that they are not affiliated with Appliance House in South Africa. So don't be fooled by online companies in SA using similar names as companies abroad and think they are above board. You will get robbed just as I was all that's left to do is open a criminal case because I've tried everything at my disposal to get my money back.</p>
