My personal opinion and advice - DON'T even think about buying anything from this place! Just don't do it. I am still waiting for a refund as they could not supply the TV I purchased on Black Friday last year (November 23, 2018), and despite following-up numerous times I now don't even get a response from them. It is now March 13, 2019. I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact they have stolen my money. I will be pleasantly surprised if I get it back. Maybe they are running some type of scam company or the like. Rather buy on a reputable website like Takealot.

<p>The company is a ***, they cancelled my order last on the 5th of December so I called on ********** 336 and call told me I would get my refund in 3 business days. I called them on the 4th day and then they told me that I would get it in 7 business days, thereafter I called them back and then they told me I would get it in 21 business days. Sent them countless emails to no avail, until I the call centre four times on the same day asking them as to what is going on? The call centre assured me that my refund is being processed and he even sent me an email stating so. After 53 days I still haven't received my money back. I even emailed Appliance House UK to find out if they are a parent company, and told within minutes that they are not affiliated with Appliance House in South Africa. So don't be fooled by online companies in SA using similar names as companies abroad and think they are above board. You will get robbed just as I was all that's left to do is open a criminal case because I've tried everything at my disposal to get my money back.</p>

The address on their website doesn't exist. The product doesn't exist. You will never get your order! People who ordered and paid in July 2018 still haven't received their order or a refund. This company only takes your money with no product or intention to deliver.

<p>I am horrified!!! The mayority other reviews on Appliance House is very similar to my dealings with this company and speculation that this could be a **** is horrifying!!! I purchased a AEG Gas / Electric free standing cooker for R8610 on Black Friday weekend and since then I had several email correspondence from Appliance House postponing delivery several times with what I thought (considering it was Black Friday weekend) plausible excuses, but the last delivery dates I was given was between 4 to 11 January and to date I haven’t received the product and all email enquiries go unanswered and as noted by others the website has been taken down. After reading all the other reviews I feel I have no alternative but to report this to my bank as a ********** transaction and I will have to go to SAPS to make case. All I wanted was a stove purchased with hard earned money and instead I got a hole in my kitchen-wall and in my pocket. Absolutely gutted!</p>

I read a review about money that has been returned into people's bank accounts working through their respective bank fraud department. There is no need to go through the SAPS if the proof and timeline etc. is provided to your bank before 30 days have lapsed since the payment was made. However, after this period you will require an IBAN number etc. which you get from the SAPS and this now becomes a legal matter. I have fallen victim to this and talk out of experience since I was hopeful for more than 3 months that my money will be refunded. I am happy to say that today I received a proof of payment from Standard Bank that my refund has been processed, finally...
