Following my previous comment in January the company and myself have come to an amicable compromise. Cleanest Cleaning Services have offered to pay me in installments to replace the missing carpet which I appreciate.
Handed in Persian carpet for cleaning on 28 Nov 2018. Told to be patient. On 14 December 2018 Simone sms'ed us:" Yes, your rug is there & ready for collection. 273 Church Street, Johannesburg North" On 20 Dec we went to collect but were told that they could not find the carpet and we should come back after December holidays. In January we were then informed by Jason that the carpet was missing and his two ladies at reception stated that the same man who delivered the carpet (myself)fetched it on 30 of November 2018 which is a lie. Jason refuses to replace the carpet hiding behind a disclaimer and indemnity notice displayed at his premises. ( He obviously does not realize that one cannot contract out of negligence) WHAT A SCAM !!!! I will have no choice but to open a criminal case of theft against them.
