Although it is a small university, best experiance hands down. My only problem in my experience studying there is student support - some are a bit biased and tend to allow personal feelings to slip between their supposed professionalism. Otherwise, I am quite happy with the way I was treated at Monash South Africa. It was quite disappointing to hear the news with AdvTech - I actually hoped to see it grow a bit further in terms of courses and facilities under Monash Australia/Laureate.
Where do I even begin with this review? The service was absolutely terrible, most of the staff seemed unsympathetic or even careless when it comes to the problems of a prospective student. The communication channel between the student support and the student is non-existant. You literally have to push to get the information or the help you need. I registered and enrolled personally as a student and I found that I could not login into my.lms thus I sent them an inquiry using the support system (MySupport) provided with my student number and details. Till this day I am still awaiting that email, confirming that that they have received the inquiry and have taken the steps to have it resolved. I am utterly disappointed by the treatment that I have received from the Midrand campus, I expected something more since it is considered a private institution for higher education. Public universities have treated me better in the past. I only gave it one star for the friendly receptionist.
