Response from Speedy Plumbers It’s unfortunate when people leave negative reviews simply because it comes to payment — like in the case of Mr. Jackie from Hooggety Guest House. A clear quote was provided for labour only, as all materials were supposed to be supp**** by Mr. Jackie, and the necessary prep work was also his responsibility. However, during the job, additional work was requested, and Speedy Plumbers went the extra mile — we not only did the prep work ourselves, but also covered the cost of materials and even assisted with the electrician’s tasks. When the final invoice was issued, it included only the actual labour and materials purchased by Speedy Plumbers — no extras, no hidden costs. We didn’t even charge for petrol or mileage to collect the materials. So, Mr. Jackie, is it really unfair to expect reimbur*****t for the materials we paid for out of pocket? Speedy Plumbers prides itself on honesty and quality workmanship, and we stand by the work we did at Hooggety Guest House.

Bad service
Please be aware that this company take your deposit to uplift their property. In the beginning they tell you that the marks on the wall is not a problem, but when you moved out, it is for your account.

I rented from Pieter Kotze Real Estate/DurbanVille Rentals but with great disappointment. This is the second place I rented from them where they took my deposit at the end to re-paint their property, which was not done when I moved in. So please be careful for this rental company, they take your money to keep their property at tip top condition, but you don't receive it in perfect condition.
