AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I made the terrible mistake of renting from Pieter and his associates. Firstly, check twice on what you see on Property24, they will post outdated and probably edited photos of the properties they rent. I made the mistake of visiting their property during loadshedding after work -- the darkness worked in their favor because as soon as I signed those papers and moved in, the property was hanging by a thread. Faucets, blinds, security gates, black mold, built up grime, leaky roof you name it its all broken-- Lacking YEARS of maintenance. The leaks were so bad it tripped the power! I tried to nullify the contract in the same weekend I moved in and they wanted to subject me with 2 months of rental fee as well as their advertising costs, which is a massive amount of money to pay to get out of a proper crackden of a property. That being said, i chewed the bullet as its my fault for trusting this company. I reckoned the maintenance team will get the place fixed up. They came back to me only after 9 Months, only fixing about 30% of the issues. And that's only because I threatened to withhold my payments due to my health and safety being at risk. And that's not the worst of it, come moving out they will outright ROB you of your deposit. Charging me to repaint the WHOLE apartment, claiming I had left marks on each and every wall and ceiling. The same walls and ceilings with their black mold and leaky-water damage conveniently. I implore all rental property owners and renters to AVOID PIETER KOTZE AT ALL COSTS! This company has zero integrity and zero intention of serving you as a tenant.

Worst rental experience
If there was less than 1 star to give this compny would qualify. For the period of 2½ that we rented from the agency in Blue Lily Lane Complex, Buhrein Estate, not once did they do an inspection. When we moved in the place was painted out and looked very nice but little did we know the problems we would incur. First we had a ****roach problem that the fumigation guys had to come out twice to fumigate. Then the worst of all they never told us that there was a MASSIVE MOULD issue throughout the apartment, and occurs during winter time. When we reported it the owner of the agency Pieter Kotze himself says in his words "you must keep the windows open to air the place out" and this during winter, how stupid can you be. At that time our new born baby had severe allergies and we could not figure out what the cause of it was, not knowing it was the mould making her sick. To set the record straight we rented from Pieter Kotze and not directly from the owner. Halfway through our 2nd year in the apartment the owner started making contact with us directly. Firstly Piter Kotze properties violated the POPi act by sharing our information with the owner (without our consent), namely Hannelie Loubser, and what an absolutely rude and disrespectful person this is. She says she didn't know that there was children living in the apartment but when we moved in my wife was 8½ months pregnant and Pieter Kotze knew this ande gave birth literally 2 days after we moved in. We had a water leak coming from the apartment above, we let Pieter know and all he says is "please take photos" no inspection done to assess the damage. At the end of our 2nd year time for renewal came up and we requested for a month to month contract as we weren't sure if we were staying in Cape Town or moving to Joburg as our 2nd child was born with a terminal heart condition and surgery was only available in Joburg. The owner agrees to it and we sign the lease and literally a week after we signed she, Hannelie Loubser says that she has signed a new tenant and we must vacate. By this time the agency owner Pieter Kotze does not get involved but rather hands it over to a very *********** lady called Cathy. To the point where lawyers got involved. We eventually moved out and we agreed that we would pay for the place to be painted which would have cost R2500 but then Hannelie Loubser added her lawyers fees and Pieter Kotze added cleaning fees after we hired sweep south to clean the place. If you ever come across a lady called Hannelie Loubser from Herm****, stay away and stay further away from Pieter Kotze properties. They are dishonest and a bunch of *******.

Stay away from Pieter Kotze Properties
The one star is too high of a rating for this company. Absolutely horrible service and they lie so much to you they can't even remember their own lies. Please keep away from this company unless you want major issues or if you're okay with being treated with complete disrespect.

Stay away from Pieter Kotze Properties
The one star is too high of a rating for this company. Absolutely horrible service and they lie so much to you they can't even remember their own lies. Please keep away from this company unless you want major issues or if you're okay with being treated with complete disrespect.

Do Not Work With Pieter Kotze Properties
I would not recommend Pieter Kotze Properties (Buh-Rein Estate). We live here and have had the most awful experience. Our rental agent is very rude, utterly unprofessional and he has not been helpful at all. We have logged complaints numerous times and still nothing has been done. Since we started the whole process we have had struggles but it has gotten worse since we signed the contract. They give you empty promises and afterward the agent can't remember anything. Do NOT work with Pieter Kotze Properties.

Do Not Sign with This COMPANY
The one star rating is too much for this place! I am warning everyone to please think twice before signing any documents with this company. After you signed or paid you have so much issues it is absurd. They have no respect when talking to you and they do not care about what happens in the complex. They got their tenants and money so they don't care! I have never worked with a more unprofessional and disrespectful company in my life! Think long and hard before doing business with them! The one star rating is too much for this place! I am warning everyone to please think twice before signing any documents with this company. Bad service
Please be aware that this company take your deposit to uplift their property. In the beginning they tell you that the marks on the wall is not a problem, but when you moved out, it is for your account.
