If there was less than 1 star to give this compny would qualify. For the period of 2½ that we rented from the agency in Blue Lily Lane Complex, Buhrein Estate, not once did they do an inspection. When we moved in the place was painted out and looked very nice but little did we know the problems we would incur. First we had a ****roach problem that the fumigation guys had to come out twice to fumigate. Then the worst of all they never told us that there was a MASSIVE MOULD issue throughout the apartment, and occurs during winter time. When we reported it the owner of the agency Pieter Kotze himself says in his words "you must keep the windows open to air the place out" and this during winter, how stupid can you be. At that time our new born baby had severe allergies and we could not figure out what the cause of it was, not knowing it was the mould making her sick. To set the record straight we rented from Pieter Kotze and not directly from the owner. Halfway through our 2nd year in the apartment the owner started making contact with us directly. Firstly Piter Kotze properties violated the POPi act by sharing our information with the owner (without our consent), namely Hannelie Loubser, and what an absolutely rude and disrespectful person this is. She says she didn't know that there was children living in the apartment but when we moved in my wife was 8½ months pregnant and Pieter Kotze knew this ande gave birth literally 2 days after we moved in. We had a water leak coming from the apartment above, we let Pieter know and all he says is "please take photos" no inspection done to assess the damage. At the end of our 2nd year time for renewal came up and we requested for a month to month contract as we weren't sure if we were staying in Cape Town or moving to Joburg as our 2nd child was born with a terminal heart condition and surgery was only available in Joburg. The owner agrees to it and we sign the lease and literally a week after we signed she, Hannelie Loubser says that she has signed a new tenant and we must vacate. By this time the agency owner Pieter Kotze does not get involved but rather hands it over to a very *********** lady called Cathy. To the point where lawyers got involved. We eventually moved out and we agreed that we would pay for the place to be painted which would have cost R2500 but then Hannelie Loubser added her lawyers fees and Pieter Kotze added cleaning fees after we hired sweep south to clean the place. If you ever come across a lady called Hannelie Loubser from Herm****, stay away and stay further away from Pieter Kotze properties. They are dishonest and a bunch of *******.
I cannot express enough the disappointment with Snatcher. I bought a simple clothes drying rack on 15 October 2020, it was delivered on 23 October 2020 (they sent the wrong item) i let them know the same day via email. They respond on 26 October 2020 saying that they will collect the item, on 11 November 2020 the item was only collected, this after trying to call them numerous times. On 15 November 2020 they delivered the correct item (according to snatcher) but they actually delivered the same item that i sent back the first time. I requested that they collect the item and requested a refund. On 7 December 2020 the item was still not collected and i requested again for the refund. On 11 December 2020 they sent a mail saying that the accounts department is processing the refund. The wrong item (for the second time) was only collected on 6 January 2021 and on 8 January 2021 they asked for my bank details again to process my refund AGAIN. Up until now i have not heard from them nor have i received my refund. The item did not cost alot of money but its the principle, quality of service and communication from Snatcher that is disgusting.
I bought a bakkie from November 2017 from Wheel traders Goodwood, Cape Town, and dealt with Shudley. The day that i drove away with the bakkie the temperature gauge shot up, i took the bakkie back immediately and they had a look, just to find that there was no water in the radiator. A few days after i still had the same problem with the temperature gauge shooting up and the radiator leaking, eventually the owner said that they will put in a new radiator. There is still numerous things that still has to be replaced on the bakkie e.g the spare wheel (which was as smooth as an ice-rink), a side mirror (to which Shudley admitted that it was a pirate part), the park distance control (which was disconnected when i bought the bakkie) to name but a few. Shudley still has a nerve to say that he is not aware of anything (but i have the proof on whatssapp). I must say i regret buying a vehicle from wheel traders as what they perceive they offer is not close to half you get. Maybe the owner is not aware of what his staff is doing behind his back but what i can say is this......its giving his business a really bad name and i would be ashamed if people like Shudley worked for me. I know they wont live up to their commitments after reading this but they dont leave me any choice but to warn people to stay away from wheel traders, they dont live up to their commitments.
