My experience with Easylife pools aka Fibre glass pools SA I am extremely disappointed first of all at the lack of customer service that has been displayed by Corne in regards to the handling of the situation with regards to the damaged pool. First of all this pool was ordered on the 30th November to be delivered the week of the 14th of December. We advised on the 17th December that if the pool was not going to arrive on time that we would need to request a refund as we were promised delivery that week and after numerous unanswered /returned calls, we were finally then advised that the shell & truck had not left yet but arrangements were being made for delivery before the weekend or early in the new week (week of the 21st December), this subsequently did not happen, and we were advised that the truth was that you were having issues with the factory and deliveries, and received an email to say that the pool will be delivered in the week of the 28th of December. This also did not happen. Finally now delivery was scheduled for the 9th of January. Upon arrival we immediately noticed the following problems: Martini seat has two massive cracks. Patches have been done and there are lots of hairline cracks and aimflow has been cut even after we've asked for you not to cut it (see whatsapp message on 14 December) . Mosaic strips also damaged in quite a few spots. Also a spot on pool that has already been fixed. As per our conversation on Saturday she advised me they knew there was a problem with the pool but they fixed it, which you can clearly see by the fresh paint, and then advised that problems happen and the pools get damaged due to transportation which you clearly don't understand that you cannot hold your client liable for, I am not happy with this as we have ordered a new pool and this pool is very damaged. Corne refused a refund and said they will only repair it and bring it back or I will need to wait for them to resell it at a discounted price, and then see what they can refund me. I will also not be refunded the R4000 delivery fee. Even went as far as saying that I am complaining because I probably don't have the money to pay for it???????? I am at a loss for words to describe my experience with this lady. Eventually after her arguing and refusing refund we agreed to repair it and the pool was taken back and then got repaired and brought back on Monday 11 January, however we need to pay them another 10k before they will bring it back, and then the balance of R3500 odd must be paid before it gets taken off truck. Yes the pool has been repaired(quick fix too) but now that we are standing looking at the pool we can clearly see other defects, to be honest this looks like a 2nd hand pool as you can see previous patch work that has been done. We are still looking into ways to prove this is either a second hand or a refurbished pool. But according to almost everyone we have spoken to it definitely looks refurbished I have since the 17th of Dec phoned both numbers on the website and have to date not received a return call nor have they ever answered my calls. I personally will never ever do business or refer business to them ever again. Corne advised me on the phone she does not care about customer service, how does one run a business like this??? I am so disappointed, this complaint is merely just a summary of everything, I feel I could write a book on this. Kind regards Kirsty da Silveira and Shaun Kotze
