Clear Water Pool Company - Where you are promised the world!
CONSUMER ALERT - Stay far away! ....They advertise as "a splash above the rest"...more like a tsunami above the rest! I contracted this father and son company trading as Clear Water Pools in Somerset West / Strand to install a small 4m x 3m fibreglass pool in my property during the latter part of 2019. In addition the the agreed price, they charged me R6000 for professional drawing of the plans and for the plan submission to the local municipality. The plans were drawn and signed, but were never submitted to the municipality because they never paid the plan company. Once the pool was eventually installed, i complained that it was using excessive water. My monthly water bill increased by over R1000 per month. After many execuses and reasons given by them for the high water usages, i had a private company come in, lift part of the newly installed decking around the pool and open up the pipes so that we could inspect. 3 Metres from the pump, we found the broken pipe that had been pierced by a stone. Clear Water Pools had dug a trench through stoney soild, and laid the pipes into a bed filled with stones. No protective sand used at all to protect the pipes. The cost of repairing this and the wasted water water over the 5 month period, amounted to a few thousand rand. They promised to refund this expense and pay the architect for the plans.... SITARI COUNTRY ESTATE - DEPOSIT STILL NOT REFUNDED
CONSUMER ALERT - Unethical business practices! Paid a deposit in good faith in MARCH 2018 for an apartment at SItari Country Estate in Somerset West. The bank declined my bond application and Sitari Country Estate are refusing to refund my deposit, notwithstanding it being a condition of the signed Offer To Purchase. Should one believe the rumors on social media that Sitari Country Estate May be in financial stress? STOP earning interest on my money and refund it NOW as SITARI COUNTRY ESTATE is NOT entitled to it!!! BE AWARE OF BUYING PROPERTY AT SITARI COUNTRY ESTATE Please share with your family, friends and colleagues.
