Boy do I wish I had done my research before investing in the thing. At face value it looks so good and reviews will blow you away, but the actual reality will blow your top. The system will "keep record" of everything and you will watch "your money grow" daily and you will never get it. The online chat never has anyone respond to you and you will wait forever to get any of your money back. No one is held accountable for anything and you can't really do anything other than hope and pray. Everyone who has gotten money back has either spent more investing in again only to get half of the promised amount and others will keep making excuses about backlog and what have you. Why create and promise profits without any planning or backup plan for your promises? No such thing as easy money. Rather invest in a savings account, it's slow as hell but rather 6% of something than 100% of sheer rubbish. Iv'e made peace with my losses, It's cool I guess.
A few months ago I was applied for a Game finance (thing) for about R5500 to get a PS4. I signed up and confirmed everything telephonicaly in store, one of those confirmations being the monthly instalment, banking details and debit order date (25th of every month) . This is the day I get paid and I prefer to handle my expenses immediately to avoid arrears, bad credit or what have you, I also confirmed that I would like the agreed amount to be DEBITED as this was more convenient, I don't have to pay in-store, I don't have to worry about forgetting to pay and the above mentined. Fine, everthing is in order as is everything else (or so I thought). I don't recieve notifications on my cellphone, I lost enough phones and numbers in my day to dread the whole in-bank process so I just check my information at an ATM whenever I get the chance to. Funny enough my phone died so I was forced to get another one, with a different number since it was on contract. I've never had problems with anything bank related so not receiving notifications wasn't much of a big deal. (Or so I thought.) Fast forward to a few months ago, an colleague from HR informing me that a lady called Nelly from RCS tried to get ahold of me and left a number and asked me to call her. I think, "weird, why would anyone from RCS want to contact me?" Okay I take the number down and wait for my lunch break to give her a call. My supervisor allows me to use the work phone as some numbers don't go through with the minutes my contract offers. As call centers operate I didn't get through to Nelly instead it was some pompas guy with terrible telephone ettiquette and attitude. I tell him I want to speak to Nelly as she requested I call her. Dude tells me she is busy on a call and asks for my ID number, I hesitate because I really wasn't trying to speak much to guy, but I comply. Guy says "It's regarding your Game account". I don't bother asking anything else, his voice made nose clog so I told to tell Nelly to call me back soon as she's done with her call. You would think she'd call back since I showed initiative... Nothing. About a month ago I recieve an SMS saying I am in breach of my RCS agreement, I'm like "what in the actual fudge!? HOW!?" I freak out and send them an email since I cannot call their number. Please understand my confusion: All my debit orders go off the DAY I get paid and it deducts immediately (I think). I use my monet from the 26th as it reflects pretty late on the 25th, which is okay cause it allows sufficient funds for all my debits. So how in holy hell am I in breach of agreement!? I send and email asking about this, I deserve an explanation. I left my cell number and appropriate time to call me during the week as I cannot answer personal calls during work hours. I get an automatic email response that does not assist me AT ALL. shortly after I get an SMS telling me they would like to assist me in making an arrangement with regards to my account and that I should call them. ME!? Call THEM!? AGAIN!? After all that mess, and I am confident the fault is NOT on my end. What happens now? The arrears? My CREDIT SCORE!? For serious!? What is a contract and recorded line for then? I specifically confirmed my debit order dates to avoid such messes, cause life, alcohol, friends... alcohol can put you in a corner where you end up spending way more than planned, being that my money was "disposable income" I had no issues with that, now this!? I don't know what my closing statement is but this is ****! and if i had the time, patience, money and legal know-how... I'd sue!
