********** 944 PIN code: 7327 I reserved accommodation for 2-3 March 2019 for our wedding anniversary. I reserved through Booking.com. I asked a question about the availability of non-alcoholic beer but never got a response. The hotel sent me a booking confirmation email on 20 Feb 2019. I replied "NO LONGER INTERESTED" to that email which originally contained the following names: ********** Alfred Banda; Gugulethu Mbewe. These recipients will have an email in their inbox dated 20 February where I indicated that I was no longer interested with the booking. On 5 March I received a NO SHOW email from Booking.com asking me whether I stayed at Mount Grace or not. I replied that I did not stay at the hotel. THEN THEY DEDUCTED 4550 FROM MY ACCOUNT. On 5 March the amount of R4550.00 was debited from my account! I called the hotel and spoken to Mr Banda twice; I have also spoken to Mr Emmanuel from Booking.com. However, nobody appears to be interested in getting back to me. I am utterly disappointed with the way this issue is being handled. I have always wanted to visit this hotel but my impression of them has now been *****ed totally. How can they make me pay for accommodation that never happened?? Very disappointed.
