-1 Review, Absolutely pathetic service Do not order from them! I placed an order on the 1 February, one month later and still no delivery, even though when the order was processed they said it will be delivered by the 17 February. Only once I queried, was there any movement on the order, now 8 days later and it still pending delivery, with the departure date being moved every day. It's honestly a waste of time and money.
I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with Bonitas Medical Aid regarding my elderly, unemployed mother’s medical aid renewal. In November 2024, I completed and submitted all the required renewal forms. However, due to Bonitas switching service providers, they failed to capture the information. As a result, I was debited in January on the highest bracket of the Boncap scheme. When I contacted Bonitas on January 7th, they asked me to resend the forms, promising to correct the payment and issue a refund. Despite complying, no action was taken. Over the next few weeks, I repeatedly sent the same forms, only to be told to send them yet again. Finally, after escalating the issue, three weeks after my initial complaint I get feedback and am now asked to provide an affidavit confirming my mother’s unemployment, which was not part of the required documents for a renewal, as clearly stated on their own renewal forms. Now, just days before another incorrect deduction is due, I’m being unfairly forced to scramble for an affidavit. To make matters worse, I can’t cancel the policy without submitting more forms and waiting 30 days, which means I’ll be debited again on the highest bracket. Absolutely incomponent and pathetic service. No accountability and no resolution, all they can do is shift the blame and penalise the customer - Stay far away from this provided - Do not get a medical aid with them!
Great first experience on signup, Beryldine Anders was extremely professional yet empathic and understanding at the same time, it's something all pet owners need. I previously read a bit on the benefits/exclusions, etc on the website and was a bit confused on the waiting period, however, Beryldine explained everything in detail and I didn't even have to ask. Exceptional Service and I'm proud to say that I feel a lot less stressed regarding my little ones :)
