Pick n Pay Hyper in Bloemfontein doesn't inspect the pet products regularly for the expiration date. I bought the AVI parrot food from them and didn't realize it had expired. Only after my parrots got sick and died I realized it. I informed the manager a Mr Ishmael about it and when we went to the shelve all the packets were expired by almost 3 months. He then offered to replace the parrots out of his own. Jeanette also from the shop called me to get the proof of purchase of the parrots and when they realized it was expensive the cat and mouse game started. Almost two months later I was told by the insurance company that because I didn't took the parrots for a autopsy and to a VET to obtain a report they will not replace them. They offered to replace it and not the other way around.
The staff at Makro Online are almost by far the worst possible employees there is. After a previous review about the service of Makro they contacted me with loads of promises to resolve the issues with the product bought just to find out what they were doing. They just want to get the time to lapse rather than to resolve the issues. Now it is expected that I must pack the items into a proper box to prevent damage to the items and hand it to a courier company where after I have to wait until the supplier is completely satisfied with the condition of the items before they will consider it to refund the amount I have paid. There is no guarantee that I will receive any refund from them once I have handed the items to the courier company and how long it will take. In the meantime I am the one who is suffering while they don't even care about the promises maid by them. Not even the people of the Bloemfontein branch can come back to you with a resolution
Is there any one who have lately tried to get a replacement card from Sterns. They asked so called security questions which you must remember to the last detail, even if it has changed over the years they expect from you to remember the information which they ask from you even though the limit information has changed over the years. It is also useless to try and speak to a supervisor as they refuse to transfer you.
