I am definitely one of the #DotsurePetFans biggest fans! I have been with Dotsure Pet Insurance for 3 years and not once have they made a claim or a query difficult. Communication is swift, the claims process is straightforward, and queries receive prompt responses. I cannot fault them. My dog recently underwent Cruciate ligament surgery and although I am not on the highest package (which covers this surgery in full), I was still able to claim back a good amount of the procedure and any follow up vet visits. I was honestly so surprised and so thankful! The get well soon card is a sweet touch too. My Whiskey boy says Thank you!
Terrible experience. Ann is very rude when receiving any complaints or queries. To add ,after paying R6.5k to them I would have expected a supervisor however we had to supervise the team ourselves and if we didn't they would have left the place in a mess. We didn't let them leave until the truck arrived to pick up the stumps that were left on the side of the road and until they cleaned up the garden. There is so much more to this story and the reason I have given 1 star but in summary: Ann is rude, team is mismanaged, messy work, need to be supervised, refused to work in the beginning and received a "I don't know you want us to do" from Ann, poor communication, rushed work, team telling us that we must tip them for the work done and a hammer of ours went missing. I will look for someone else next time.
One issue after another. I always have to follow up on my refund for the "drive less benefits" although on the website it clearly states its an automatic process. When following up I get asked if I have the telematics device installed in my car... How could the information of my KM driven in the month get onto the pineapple app if I didn't have it installed? the issue is not with me, or with tracker, the issue is with processing and data collection from Pineapple. Getting any information from them is a painful process. It takes days- if not weeks to get any information. I am fed up and definitely moving to another insurer. I would pay double just to have an insurer that's easy to deal with.

If I could give 0 stars I would. First experience was great so I decided to sign up our second car. It has been a nightmare since. 1. I was quoted one thing and then the premium ended up being completely different. 2. Customer service is absolutely shocking. Takes days to get a response and when i do it doesnt help 3. On debit order day I am debited a COMPLETLEY different amount to what my "final premium" was- which was wrong to begin with. I was quoted R970. Premium became R1041.21 after signing up but then I was debited R1510?????? Naked Insurance or ANY other insurance may be more expensive but its certainly worth the extra few R100's.

They are of no help. They registered our property with the city incorrectly and now we are having issues with our rates and taxes. We have been trying to get help from the lawyers to sort this issue out but have received no help.
Always great service from the dotsure team. Claiming is so easy and the response is so quick. You also receive a breakdown of your current claim and past claims making future claims simple as you know exactly what is still available. Not only is claiming simple but general responses to any questions or updates you may have is always very fast. They even add in a cute touch of a 'get well' card for my pup. I'm very happy and wont be changing my insurance for the foreseeable future
i signed up with Dotsure pet insurance through the help of Michelle Klaassen Greyling. She made the process so easy and explained everything in detail. She went even further to answer all the questions i had and took the time to make sure i knew what i was signing up for. Really appriciate the great service i recieved and happy with my pet insurance.
