What an absolute pleasure! I was a first time home buyer and this can be quite overwhelming. Jenny Venter and her team assisted me with everything and now I am a proud owner of my first home. They really went the extra mile! Thank you so much!
After utter incompetence in moving my fibre line to my new address, I decided to cancel my fibre line with Vodacom so that I can move to a different ISP. The cancellation was logged on the 7th of August and assigned to Janine Ngwayi. Now after 3 weeks I have had absolutely NO response from her. So now I have been without internet for a month, I am still being billed in full and I cannot move to the new ISP as Vodacom has a so-called claim on my line, even though it doesn’t work. What the hell Vodacom? Every time I try to follow up, I speak to a consultant. They are NEVER allowed to put you through to the responsible person, so they just continue to ignore your ticket because there’s absolutely no accountability when you are buffered by the staff below you. This is utter nonsense! So much for believing in an international company.
I purchased a kiaat dining room set from Hardwood design when they were at the Grove Mall. When I finally received the set, none of the chairs were level. Furthermore, the table started to burst within 3 months. You can see straight through the table in 2 places. When I asked for my money back, I was (eventually) informed that they prefer to replace the set. Now it is 2 months later and nothing has been done. I have again requested a refund, but I guess it will fall on deaf ears again. Stay away from them, the quality is absolute rubbish and you pay a fortune for it.
I have recently requested a change of ownership on my contract. It has to be moved from personal to business. The consultant told me that the process will take 1-2 months, but since I do not have to change the contract I am on, we do not need to change anything except the ownership details. This was done end of March. From the 10th of April I was unable to use my account. I cannot make or receive calls or messages. I was also unable to use my mobile data. I returned to the Vodacom shop where they tried to reset my network settings and tried swapping sim cards. Nothing worked. I was passed over to a consultant who logged a query on my behalf. Later I phoned customer care where I was told that a drop in service is normal, as I am swapping ownership. This will be resolved in 24 hours. The next day I was still unable to use my account. I phoned customer care again where I was told that I should NOT have experienced a drop in service since my number did not change. She logged another query to a support specialist and I was told that it could take up to 72 hours to be resolved. Four days later, I was still unable to use my account. I received a message that my query was at the billing department. When I did a follow up with customer care, she told me that the reference number I received was not even logged for my number. She did a new query log for me. Twelve days after my first query was "escalated" I phoned customer care yet again. I received a message that my query has been resolved, but I was still unable to use my account. The consultant spoke to the business department who informed her that my change over should have been completed already. I should return to the original Vodacom shop to request that they log an ISP to determine the status of my order. The in-shop consultant told me that the business-customer care consultant was wrong and that he does not need to log an ISP. He cannot check my paperwork as the consultant who originally assisted my was off that day. All he can do is ask for a network sync (even though this has previously been unsuccessful), and he further advised me that a change of ownership takes 4-6 MONTHS! This morning I received another message that my query is at a support specialist. Thus I am sitting on 13 days without the use of my account. I am frustrated beyond belief as NO ONE has been able to solve my issue and NO ONE says the same thing when I speak to them. I would have preferred to log a complaint at Vodacom directly, but they make it impossible to do that. I received random spam sms's and phone calls, but NOTHING else. If you want to change ownership of your account, please rather go to a new network provider as Vodacom does not seem to know what they are doing.
