This relates to www.foxracing.co.za. In 2025 December I bought some mountain biking gear from them. Everything worked smoothly. I was particularly impressed with the friendly and easy way of dealing directly with the company when I wanted to return an item.
In the past I was very impressed with Afrihost's client interaction and after bad experiences with MWeb, I decided to try Afrihost as a fibre ISP. The migration has been handled terribly. Two days after the migration was supposed to have been actioned and I still sit without internet. I used to use Afrihost for many years as an ISP and found their service a shining light compared to businesses in any industry. Now I find interacting with them as tedious as anyone in their industry. They have completely lost their competitive edge. The telephone operators used to be excellent and overwhelmingly helpful, now you feel like you are dealing with people who don't really know what they are talking about. Their technical help is confined to very limited times. It seems as though they have expanded too quickly and their clients are bearing the brunt of staff who aren't aware of all of their products or how to action things that should be routine. My Afrihost misgivings are also based on trying out their mobile data products this time last year and being repeatedly disappointed with interactions.
