I had such a great experience ordering from this online baby store. The products are beautiful and excellent quality, exactly as shown on the website. Delivery was quick and everything arrived perfectly packaged. You can really tell how much care goes into what they do. I’ll definitely be ordering again and highly recommend them to anyone shopping for baby essentials or gifts. Courteney, was quick with responses and communicated throughout the process.
I have just received an order from Baby Couture and thought to leave them a review, as so often when we receive good service, we don't give credit where credit is due. I have ordered various items from Baby Couture over the last few years and each and every time, my orders are just beautiful. I know that online ordering is sometimes a scary and challenging process, but I have found that the beautiful handmade knitwear, is just out of this world. The detail, the quality, is just perfection. Knowing that the knitwear is handmade, I realised that there would be a lead time and I wanted to check that Baby Couture had stipulated the lead time, and to put my mind at ease, I saw it was there, clearly stated. There was a slight delay due to the rioting in KZN but the team at Baby Couture, kept me updated the whole way. I have also ordered many beautiful sleepwear sets from them and they are my favourite. So comfortable and the sizing was correct. I did order a size too small the first time, and Baby Couture had no problem in sending me a new size. I obviously paid for the courier as the mistake was mine, but I had no problem doing this. Well done Baby Couture on a beautifully run, professional online store. I have no problem recommending you and your team to anyone looking for beautiful quality products. Your commitment to your clients is above and beyond.
I bought a pair of jeans from Freddy's Jeans at Gateway in Durban when they opened their store in December. I have worn the jeans four times and washed them once, according to the washing instructions. When you pay R1500/R2000 for a pair of jeans, you make sure you look after them. Three weeks ago, I wore my jeans with standard knee high leather boots. I can't wear ankle socks with boots as the leather rubs on my ankles, so I wear standard socks that sit about 10cm above the ankle. I wore these for about four hours and when I took the boots and socks off, I noticed that there was a black line on each leg where the elastic from the sock had been. The socks are not new, so no dye was coming out. I took the jeans to Freddy's in Gateway and left them with the shop assistant, requesting that they do whatever they need to, to try and establish what could have caused this reaction. I expected them to at least send them away, to head office or something to have this done. After phoning a couple of times to follow up, I received a call on Friday to state that the owner, had said the following "we can't do anything about these jeans, but if you buy another pair, we'll offer you 10% discount"? Really? After spending R1500 on a pair of jeans, I would expect more than that as an after sales service? Buy another pair? Why on earth would I, if they can't even help me find out what could have gone wrong with my own pair? R150 off a new pair? Come on guys! If you are going to sell an upmarket brand like this, you really need to offer a good after sales service. All I expected was that my jeans were sent to the right place, to be assessed and perhaps find out if this has happened to anyone else's jeans. To just leave a voice message on my phone saying you can't do anything about this pair of jeans is just terrible after sales service. I have lodged a complaint with Freddy Jeans SA as I got nowhere going back to the Gateway branch where I bought the jeans from. All I want, is to find out why this could have happened and how to prevent it perhaps happening to anyone else who spent R1500/R2000 on a pair of jeans.
