Caused my whole ceiling to collapse, and now they won’t even refund me for the deposit paid. Tardy, unreliable, unprofessional, incompetent and thieves!!
I had to claim only two months after obtaining insurance for Max, from Dotsure.co.za It was easy, quick, hassle free, and efficient. Other insurance companies can learn a thing or two from Dotsure.co.za
Deposit was paid, and date was confirmed with contractor to repair my ceiling. On the day, the contractor arrived at 9 am, inspected ceiling, and said he had to go buy materials, he would be back in two hours. After numerous calls to follow up, he finally arrived at 15:30, after I told him that I had an appointment at 15:00. He committed to come back the next day at 07:30 to repair the Ceiling. Needless to say, he never arrived. After more phone calls, e-mails, messages and empty promises, he only arrived at 13:11, again, after I specifically told him I have people viewing the property at 15:00. I had to move out my viewing, as the ceiling was still not repaired at 15:30.
I ordered the below items on the 21st of June 2015:<br> <br> Elliot Daybed stock code 0181668 and Wilson TV Cabinet stock code 3100443. The TV Cabinet was delivered the week after it was ordered (I think) and once I fastened the legs of the cabinet did I notice that two of the legs, in the middle of the cabinet are too short, when screwed in they do not touch the floor, so therefore do not support the weight and are not fulfilling their purpose. This was reported via email to Constance at [Email Removed] on the 17th of July 2015. When they later delivered the Elliot Daybed, this was reported again on the electronic device (think it's a PDA) when I signed for the daybed. Until today, no one has contacted me in this regard. After a couple of weeks of receiving the daybed, I noticed a noise when pressing on the left arm rest, sounds like the frame is loose. This was telephonically reported to the branch I ordered the daybed from. I reported it to Kaylen Modramoothoo on the 21st of September, as well as the short legs of the TV Cabinet. Kaylen telephonically confirmed that he logged a complaint on the system and someone would contact me. I'm still waiting!
