Since 14 September 2023 we have been begging Debt Rescue to assist in sorting out our Capitec problem, as before then they said that the debt owing that keeps rising is correct. Since we went into debt review February 2019 our Capitec debt has not once gone down, instead it kept rising to a point where we owed Capitec 4 times more than what we originally owed, this after already paying over R120 000 on a debt of R89000. We have tried contacting them telephonically, where we always get told that the relevant person will contact us back, but they never do. Communication via email is also futile, as they do not answer, only after several requests will they answer by saying they will escalate the matter. We went to their office several times in an effort to get them to sort out the problem with Capitec, again only empty promises were made. Once we left they did not bother to assist us or investigate at all. In an effort to get this sorted, as we should have been done with debt review originally 29 February this year, we took it upon ourselves to solve the problem. We got into contact with the Banking Ombudsman. From this Capitec advised that Debt Rescue never contacted them regarding the problem of the rising balance and that Debt Rescue put the interest at 27.5% where they originally would have implemented the 2% in the original proposal. Capitec then assisted me in reducing the owing amount substantially, however we still owe them money because Debt Rescue did not assist when asked for assistance. Capitec then requested that I ask Debt Rescue to send them the amended proposal reflecting 2% interest in order for them to change it on their system, this was on 20 August 2024. The very same day I forwarded the communication to Debt Rescue and requested them to please assist me with the amended proposal, to which we never had a response. After that I had again followed up via email communication regarding the proposal that was requested to which they phoned me and advised me that they are unable to assist me with the requested proposal. On 21 September 2024 we again went to their offices in an effort to resolve this matter and request the proposal again, to which Melissa advised that the team leader Mpho would do it for us first thing Monday 23 September. To date we still have not received this amended proposal. We have communicated with them the entire of this week in an effort to receive the proposal yet they are still ignoring our request. They are ignoring our communication completely. Not even the CEO Neil Roets responds, and he has been sent all the communication as well. We require that you take responsibility for the mess they have caused and all the extra money that is owing to Capitec because you messed up on your side. We also require you to actually do your job and assist us, your customers, as you have been paid by us for over 5 years now, yet you never want to make an effort to assist us. Debt Rescue needs to take responsibility for the extra money owing, as it is money that I would not have been liable for had it not been for Debt Rescue's *********** staff. They also need to supply what is asked of them, surely it will not even take 5 minutes out of their day to assist with the amended proposal. I have had it with trying to get them to assist, I have reported this matter to the NCR for assistance and if need be, we will follow the legal route as well.
Worst experience ever. Took my renault to them to have the cambelt redone. They removed the head of the engine and dry dirt and grass was thrown into my open motor - best excuse they gave "someone must have a grudge towards us because someone took out the spark plugs, threw dirt in and then closed it back up again and then my vehicle was driven like that" - keeping in mind that the it was clean dry dirt and grass. Told us that the engine was completely ceased and could not turn, even though it was not. The vehicle had a service just 2 months prior to this. They wanted us to pay for a complete overhaul. They took my engine apart and refused to continue any work on my vehicle because we had asked how the dirt got in my engine. We went to collect the vehicle after being pushed to remove our vehicle, they did not put everything back where it should be and gave us the vehicle disassembled. They never returned our crank pulley and tappet cover for the vehicle. This is a limited edition, import renault and parts are not accessible. The mechanic that is now cleaning their mess and putting our vehicle back together told us that these parts were not put back into the vehicle and because of this he cannot continue. When I phoned Nick Delport of Reliable today, he told me to go there so he could teach me a lesson and that he will F**K me up, was shouting and swearing non stop, just because we asked for our motor parts back which they never put back into our vehicle. Never trust Reliable Motors with your vehicle, as they damage your vehicle more in order for them to get in more money.
I had someone *****ulently access my bank account and they did online purchase without my knowledge. I did not receive any notification when the transaction was done online, Just saw money going off my account unauthorised. I lodged the ***** case as per FNB call Centre on 8 January 2024. Received an email stating I would have feedback in 5 business days. I followed up after this period Just to be told that it could take up to 14 business days. This has also passed. I again phoned in on 16 business days and was told that they are escalating the matter and that I Will receive feedback in 2 days. To date I have still have absolutely no feedback. The unauthorised transaction was very important funds which was set aside for aftercare fees, which is now in arrears. I have made this fact very clear. FNB cancelled my debit card on 8 January when I phoned in and said they had ordered my new card for me (because of the *****). 2 weeks later when I enquire as to when I would receive my card I was told that a new card was never order and I had to then manually request one myself. I am very unhappy with the customer service from FNB, as this was a *****ulently act, I ask that it be treated as urgent and they Just do not care. I was even told that I might never even receive my money back that was ****** out of my account. I have been a FNB customer for many years and have numerous of their products, however I am considering to rather change to another bank, as they do not treat their customers with care.
