I was at shoprite in skycity, today when I come across a school stationary on the (shelf) put on the boxes. Each boxes where written UNDER R5, R10, 15,R20.i was very happy to see this special. I asked 1 of the lady who work in the store, if this UNDER R5, R10...... it real mean what I'm thinking she said, YES it's means what ever in under R10 it means it's under R10.. I took a stationary for R100. I come across a guy in a black shirt written stationary. I ask him he said nop I should not mind all those under R5, R10, 15 price, that's not the original price. They just put them on those boxes for time been. The is a lady whose busy with the price at the back. I told him that the stock was never supposed to be on the floor at the first place. Even worse on the promotion boxes. It means some1 is failing to do their job. So are you going to explain to every customer, he said I should understand its a mistake. I went to the till and ask the cashier who said she knows nothing about the price. I ask for the manager Bonifas. Wen he comes I ask him he said he doesn't know what's going on. We went back to the shelf we found mxolise who said. Those are not the original price. His sorry they will put an original price. So it simply mean shoprite hired the wrong people. Who mews to be reminded to do their Job. It's not my problem that the put a stock on a wrong place or wrong pricing. As a customer I pay for what is on the shelve. Not what they now are not on the shelf. I'm very disappointed.
Their employees take customers for granted. I placed my order on the 06 November 2020 and paid R1276.50 cash. I was given an order number. After a day I did a follow up. I was told my order is not appearing on the system I should placed another order, I did and I was given another order number. Which I sent them another proof of payment with my new order number. But even today I haven't received any help. I sent them lots of query on their pop and back office even email proof of payment 3 times on pop. But hey are failing to help me. The lady I just spoke to via whatsup few minutes ago very rude. I called she ask me to whatsup order number to her I did. She just opened the whatsup and didn't respond to me. I ask her to give me the number where I can call and get help she told me to check it on my flattummy app.
I went to Shoprite albatorn in skycity, this morning to buy my self a bread. I bought a sasko loaf and fruit juice. Come back home. Prepare my brakefast. Just after eating 2 slice, I noticed the are green dotted thing on the bread. I quickly check the expiring date only to find that, the bread expired on the 08/11/2020. Clearly someone didn't do their job. How come the is still expired food on the shelf??? Are we the community of skycity safe?? From eating shoprite food??? I went back to ruturn the bread and I spoke to manegar Betty who called 2 of his staff. 1 from pioneer by the name of siphokuhle. And the other guy I think she's under shoprite Johannes. Betty handle the situation very well. She apologized and siphokuhle even bought me another bread. I was refunded my money back. I'm just worried and pray that I don't react bad from eating that expired bread. And even scared to go back to that store.
Hi .today around 16H15.i was at Edgar's active near Edgar main store Jo'burg.looking for my son's takkie.the was a guy who was busy working there in the shoe's department whome I ask for help from.the guy come and I ask if I can get size 1from a Nike that I loved. on the price tag was R549.and I ask him to give me few minutes to check if I have enough money.just after realising that I have money.i did some calculations because I had a voucher of R70 to readem.so in total I was going to pay R479.that what I told the guy.he then said to me why R479.i explain to him why.he the say to me the takkie are R649.and I ask him about the R549 that am seeing.he then say no .that is an old price.and they are busy changing price as I can see his busy changing.i then say to him I get what ur saying but I want to pay the price am seeing now.and he said no u can't pay that amount.i ask to see a manager ,he took me to the store manager by the name of PRISCA.THE lady is boosy,rude,and stinking attitude.i explain to her what happen.and she told me that it's not a store fault that I got a wrong price in a shoe that am looking for.normal customer s come and change prices.and I told him that I got the shoe's I didn't change the price.i then decided to take a pic of both the box and the price tag . before I can even take a pic she quickly take both the box and tag.and jump from the till point to me on the other side of the till .and look me in the eyes.and say what are you trying to do.you can't take pictures here.who do u think you are.i then told him that am going to take this matter to HELLOPETAR AND EDCON HEAD OFFICE.and she told me that am welcome to that. I want this matter to be taken seriously and she must be dealt with please.
