Checked into Lower Sabie Camp this week for a stay in a bungalow. First attempt found the bungalow with a most offensive smell & no key as door had been vandalised. On returning to Reception the Receptionist was quick to admit that Lower Sabie has a bat problem as bats have invaded the roofs of many of the units. Hence the offensive smell. We were given key to No. 80 & on alighting from our car found the offensive smell even stronger. On closer inspection we saw 2 contractors s****ing down the walls of the adjacent unit to rid them of bat excrement. Then plugging the holes in thatch with builders foam or polyfiller. . Both poor products for this kind of problem. However, over 3 days we watched as they toiled only to see them leave, without sanitizing the bungalow or walls, or even painting. The evidence of the samle teatment was visible in Unit 80, which was only useable if you kept doior & windows closed. Zt night, bats wete flying out from many bungzlows around us, which probably requires shutting down theCamp, section by section & uograding all units with a roofing product that is bat proof. Evidence of poor maintenance was apparent everywhere in this camp. Have been visiting for 40 years & can't believe the deterioration.. Can't recommend you stay there!
Worst soak off & manicure I've ever had. Nail technician seemed totally disinterested in adhering to my requests. Used nail clippers to cut my nails but her efforts resulted in nails being hacked & keaving very little nail to shape. Social distancing not practised. Even though 5 chairs available 2 clients seated right next to me. When questioning their policy on social distancing, they refrained from answering & angrily moved the client to another chair.
Edgar's advertised 40% off Estee Lauder & a number of other cosmetic houses. On visiting the Cresta Branch the same day, I was informed the promotion "wasn't" on cosmetics in general but perfume only. Shame on you Edgar's for misleading your loyal customers just to get them into the store. I was 1 of 3 shoppers at the Estee Lauder Counter who were all frustrated at your misleading advert sent to my cellphone!
We have been members of the Sun City Vacation Club since inception for the sole purpose of playing golf over the weekend when the family ( all separate members) can play golf. We renewed again last year as once again the accessibility to the golf courses & more specifically Gary Player was highlighted as a benefit to timeshare members. However, it has been a re-occurring problem for some years now when we book in December that "both" courses are fully booked well in advance. If you are considering membership for a golf experience think twice as it probably won't happen!
