We took our car to Classic Motors in September (2018), after we explained what the problem was they assured us that they could fix it without any problems. A few days went by and we went back to check on the progress they had made, only to find that the car was stood in exactly the same place as when we had dropped it off. A month passed and still, no progress had been made and the car was still stood on the same spot untouched. We then approached them and asked when they would eventually start working on the car (they had had the car for coming up two months) and the response we got was “tomorrow”. It was now February and we were asked to make a payment before they could get the parts they needed. So a payment of R11,292,95 was paid on the 19th of February. A few days passed and we were told the car still wouldn’t start even though the “faulty” parts had been “replaced”? We then received word that the fault had finally been located but we needed to pay a further payment of R6880. This payment was made on April 15th 2019. The company owner assured us that we would have our car back within two days, two days passed and we called to check when the car would be available for collection only to be told that the problem on the car has still not been found. We were now fed up at this point considering our car (our main mode of transport had been in their possession for nearly 9 months at this point). We then decided that we wanted to remove our car from his property, only to be faced with refusal and to be given further invoice of R10,280. The owners wife was so rude she refused to even make eye contact. After a huge disagreement they lowered the previous invoice to R5180. We paid the invoice and finally got our car removed from the premises, only to find our car now had more faults than when it went in with. We have lived in hartenbos for 17 years and have not once experienced such poor customer service, upon evaluation of other reviews posted regarding this dealership we concluded that we were not the only that had received such horrendous, unprofessional and terrible service, for any future customers, please be very very wary of this company.
