The best government run business in Gauteng. It was super easy to renew my driver's license.
The best place to shop for all of your party decorations. The staff are all very helpful and always willing to assist.
I am writing this to inform people of how this company treat people. My turbo on my car was noisy and we decided to replace it. We purchased a Garrett turbo from Andy at Alpine Turbo. My husband installed it on the Saturday and immediately noticed that the turbo is not working. He contacted Andy who informed him that it is impossible and that he never had a turbo not work before in his 11 years. He insisted that my husband installed it incorrectly. I just want to add that my husband is a qualified VW Motor Vehicle Technician with 16 years experience working at VW and the last 5 years working at a technical training center teaching apprentices to become motor vehicle technicians. To make a very long story short, after numerous ups and downs with Andy and being messed around all over the show, Andy still refused to replace the turbo. We then booked my my car in at a VW dealership. They tested everything and confirmed that the turbo is not working. VW contacted Andy to inform him and yet Andy still refused to replace it. He even got aggressive with my husband and his boss when they went through to Andy's workshop. We spoke to our lawyer friends and they suggested that we take Alpine Turbo CC to the SCC. The SCC requires you to first request a refund and if they refuse, then we can go ahead with the claim against them. I emailed Andy and after numerous emails between us where he insulted my husband and still made every excuse on earth to say that it is the turbo, he eventually agreed to refund us. When he agreed, we purchased a new Garrett Turbo from another company and installed it. It worked immediately. Just to add that the new company charged us R1 500 less than Alpine Turbo CC charged us. I emailed Andy to let him know that I will return the turbo on the Monday. When I arrives Andy was not there and I dealt with Dominique. Dominique first acted like she had no idea who I am and actually asked me what I am doing in their shop. I told her that I am there to return the faulty turbo and to get my refund. She asked me why I thought that I would get a refund from them. I told her that Andy wrote me an email and agreed to refund me. She said that Andy would NEVER agree to refund ANYONE (I think this says it all). She said that I am a liar and that I am throwing lies at her. Long story short. She screamed at me to leave, threw the turbo out the door and then me. She even came down to my car afterwards and banged on my window. Before purchasing anything from them. Please read the various Google reviews of Andy. There are much better places out there. They don't deserve anyone's business.
Over the last three weeks I have received approximately 6 calls a day from telemarketers. It's been really annoying. This morning I read up on how I can be removed from this list so that they stop calling me. It says that you are allowed to ask where they received your information from. So this morning I have received 3 calls so far. I have asked all of them where they received my information from. They all informed me that they received it from Multichoice. I have never agreed that Multichoice can share my information. It is really annoying and actually uncalled for from a company that I pay a vast amount of money every year to make use of their service. I also contacted Multichoice before posting this comment. They couldn't help me.
I am a huge fan of the Twisp Cue and have recommended it to many other people. As of December 2018, I have experienced numerous problems with the Cue Mint flavour tasting as if it burnt. I have bought two new devices since then, thinking that it is my device but the problem still occurs. Most of the time you use it 2/4 or 3/4 when it happens. Sometimes the taste is there immediately. I have returned pods and received new ones, only to have the new ones doing the same thing. I usually purchase 20 pods a month and nowadays experience problems with about 15 out of the 20 pods. It is impossible to find the Cue Mint at garages as it is always sold out so you have no other choice but to not use the product until you can reach a twisp kiosk. Is there an ongoing problem with the pods? Is it all three my devices that are causing the issues? I honestly don't know what to do anymore and currently you do not have a nice alternative for the Twisp Cue.
I went for an upgrade in January and part of the Samsung S9 package you were supposed to receive a Top Dog voucher to the value of R10 000 as well as a once of 10GB to use in the first month. On Friday I received a message to say that I can redeem my R10 000 top dog voucher but noticed that I never received the 10GB data. I phoned the customer care line and they informed me that the 10GB of data is only loaded for clients who contact them (This is already scary). They told me that they will log a call with technical and that I should receive my 10GB data by Saturday afternoon. This morning (Monday), I noticed that the data still didn't come through so I phoned Vodacom again. All in all I spoke to 4 consultants. At each of the consultants I had to explain the entire story again and also go through all the security questions AGAIN. The resolution at the end is that they no 10GB is allocated to me and that I will not receive the 10GB on the contract and that they don't know who told me this at the store but it will not be allocated to me. Pathetic service! I went back to the booklet to check the Samsung contract I chose and it is written in black and white that I will receive a once-off 10GB as well as the top dog voucher. This says a lot about Vodacom. I am disappointed.
