Hi, I am not one to write reviews and complain about companies publicly - I'd rather take it up with them personally which I will with Ford as well. I do feel like I need to share my experience with Imperial though. I feel like I was over charged for my car service and taken for a fool as a young woman taking her car in for a service, I am also not the first I have heard of at this dealership/car service center that this has happened to. It cost me R6525 which is the most I have hear of for a Ford service where nothing was repaired. Yes, the car is out of it's service plan but there was nothing exceptional about this service and nothing out of the ordinary was checked or completed. They claim to quote you upfront on what the service will cost in terms of what they need to change. I was only asked and quoted on bulbs and windscreen wipers which I was happy to replace there as I thought it was basic and I may as well do so since they didn't have to do anything else. However, upon fetching my vehicle they had replaced and completed much more work than what was relayed to me on the phone including spark plugs (at R302 each), air filters and oil. Total parts came to R3400 which I could've had done at a much lower cost elsewhere. Additionally, the wipers which cost R892 to replace are leaving lines on my windscreen when they 'clean' the glass. I will be going back to replace these. I asked them specifically to check my brakes. The team clearly hadn't taken my car for a drive as they said there was nothing wrong and the pads did not need to be replaced. A friend was driving my car after and he called out that i had to had my breaks checked the week after my service - ridiculous. This cost and what I received in return really pained me and makes me question Ford's value.
