After reading the HP reviews, I was somewhat skeptical. I enquired about the availability of the product I wanted, got the thumbs up, and ordered. The very next day, I received my order. Well done, guys.
Be careful when following the marketing of Oinvest, they confess that you only need R10k, that may be so to open an account. However, once the marketing people hand you over to the traders, they immediately state you require R100k as R10k would be lost very easily due to leverages and margin calls! Do your homework on a Demo account and get comfortable with the terminology. Oinvest demo platform is not as good as Standard Bank webtrader demo, you can invest in ETF's which have less risk. The Oinvest Trader experts, are not experts otherwise they would be trading themselves. They provide very little help in my experinece and do not have your interests at heart! Beware, do your homework and choose a bigger more reputable platform!
They sucker u in with an invested amount of R3500 then when u get to an Acc. Manager they ask for another R100k, as a first-time investor, they are reckless and do not hold yr. hand or explain the do's and don'ts. Their education lit. advises u not to Trade with more than 15% of yr. account, the Acc. manager took me to 30% . Their support are like programmed robots, giving u standard replies without thinking for themselves. If u are a seasoned trader then maybe, but, if u r a rookie stay well clear of this muppet outfit!
I made a foolish decision to take my BMW X3 to TP&D to have Both Control arms and Mcpherson struts top mounts changed, my X3 was out of warranty and to save money I opted for TP&D. Having worked in the Motor Ind. for 44yrs (for 4 OEM's) incl. BMW, I had many years experience of testing and manuf. vehicles. On receipt of my Vehicle the mech. when asked whether he had torqued up the Safety-Critical joints, he admitted to not doing this, but stated He Had "tightened them Hard"! On driving away under load there was a very loud "graunching" noise from the Drivetrain which b4hand was NOT evident! Based on my very concerning discussion with the Mech. (Torque spec) I decided I did not want to take my vehicle back to TP&D. and opted to take my X3 to BMW Zambezi auto. On inspection, they diagnosed that an RH Tripod frt. driveshaft bearing had fallen off (it was lying in the driveshaft Hex housing), BMW Zambezi took photo's and provided a report. On returning to TP&D arm with the report, TP&D denied everything and implied that BMW Zambezi manf. the problem! I stated that was not the case and I had no intention of fooling TP&D but, requested the R5k for the new driveshaft. TP&D blatantly refused. I took the concern to the RMI, who do nothing more than facilitate, they do NOT enter in a responsibility discussion, again TP&D took zero responsibility.
