I don't like writing reviews so I am going to keep this very short. I had a bad experience in regards to comminication. The process was very slow. They asked for full payment prior to delivery and installation of the window of which I did do. The team arrived and did not have a long enough step ladder. They then blamed us for not removing the burglar bars. I asked the representitive to please remove the bars and that I would pay entra. This would have taken them a few minutes as the bars come off with a spanner. The representive then called the team to go back of which they did not after admitting they did not have a long enough ladder to do the work ion that day. We now sitting with another week of delay. When I called to discuss this with management they told me they could not assist me and basically made me look like the bad one. They all stick together as a team and treat clients as a number and not a client. As a director of my own company I would have handled this differently. Very dissapointing, I will not be using their services again!
I will never use Avis again, nor will I ever recommend Avis! I have rented out vehicles from Avis for approximately 6 weeks now on a weekly basis. I am struggling to get clear information on what is owed to me from my deposits. I have not received any of my deposits yet. I have emailed and called and also gone to the offices but no one seems to want to assist. The one rental was for a month. I paid for this rental but unfortunately had to cancel it. This was four weeks ago and still I have not received my money back. We are not talking about one rental that may have slipped the system, we talking about 5. I called the head office on Friday to speak to some one in a higher position. I was told that they were in a meeting. To this day no one has called me back. I am very disappointed and will never use Avis again! Last week on Wednesday I rented a vehicle from Tempest for 2 days. I have already received the invoice and the deposit was paid back to me already in my account.
