Received a call back not even a minute after submitting a request online. Consultant that assisted me was very patient with my asking plenty questions, and very knowledgeable. Extremely helpful. This made my decision to sign up very eay.
Since I signed up with MWEB for LTE connectivity I have not had many issue with the line and speed. I do however have a big problem with their after-sale service. You call in and get told you must log a query via their queries page either on the website or app, and you can go days without any communication or response from their teams. I called the billing department on Tuesday 1/08 morning to request a refund because my account was debited after I had made an EFT payment the week before. Of course, I was told to send an email to log a query as they cannot assist me over the phone. No communication apart from "hello welcome to MWEB" autoresponse, so I followed up via the Queries thing yesterday 2/08, and still no response this morning so I called in again. Was assisted by a lady who went and checked the progress for me and advised that I would at least receive an update by CoB today - STILL NOTHING. Not sure if it's their call-logging app that just isn't working, or if the employees just don't give a ****. But if people want good after-sale service, I DO NOT recommend MWEB as an ISP.
So my area has not had power in over six weeks. I call Eskom yesterday to log a fault, and explicitly said how long we have not had power. First I get told that our meter has never been registered - don't understand how that is since I had logged faults using that same meter number last year. Anyway, I re-register the meter (no other choice) and fault gets logged as per normal. However no technicians come out, and no communication received from them. I phone for an update on my call today and get told that it will take up to another 7 days for a technician to come out as our meter number is under investigation because the last token bought was in June. It does not register with the chick that we have had no ****ing power for over 6 weeks so it make sense that we have not bought any tokens since then.
