Thee worst customer service by far and i have used plenty services like theirs but by golly they truly are insistent on being the worst! Customer service if they deem fit may contact you back,but if they cant fix it they will transfer you to onboarding team. Im starting to think no such team exist in the company. You have less than 5 minutes to respond or they simply hang up on you. But they can take 3 hours minimum to respond to you. There is no one to assist customers after hours,which is very dumb considering problems to care about their office hours and will occur at any moment. Weekends are even more hurtful, if your internet is down like mine has been all day today,not only will they not come to your aid they deliberately wont respond its a friday so they prefer their customers to suffer the whole weekend. Do not get me started on their app,they say you can scan on there to try to fix the problem..... But guess what....you cant do unless you connected to their wifi that is what at that time....you guessed it! NOT WORKING! I have dealt with incompetence truly i have but i really should crown Mweb the king of the ***********! Save yourself....go elsewhere....its not worth the hassle
This is a **** designed to lure you in with empty promises. They will take your money and do absolutely nothing for you. You will be ignored and treated like you are crazy. I made a report to the NCR because if they think I’ll just let 7k go just like that they don’t know me
Make it make sense…..the whole day today we had no network. The router was showing green and red when you restart it. I took out the sim and put it in another phone to see if maybe there is network which was unnecessary because the other Cell C contract SIM card is working just fine. I have gone to the router settings and it will not connect ….I know we paid so is this another of your new tricks Cell C? Because at this point I cannot keep up! And please don’t come at me about how you couldn’t reach me,yes you wouldn’t have reached me anywhere,and I don’t have to explain myself as to why as you aren’t my God. Your thing is not working again,and I believe you did get hold of my spouse who also explained to the caller that we aren’t available. Because it seems we need to put our lives on hold waiting for a call from network department that will come when they feel like it not when I need help. I kept myself available for two weeks after my last complaint and did I receive said call within that time frame? I’ll answer you,no I did not. Then I had to get back to my life and that clearly did not sit well with you,how dare I not avail myself at a time you choose you will call! I tried calling customer care and lo and behold,the ****mers don’t work 24 hours for customers that take money from. They close at 5 so if you have a problem after that time well you can simply go 🪛 yourself! Basically they will get back to you as and when they please,but still make you pay for it though. I must admit y’all got a pretty good set up better than any 419 out there!
I am literally at my wits end,I don’t know what else to do now. The whole week we haven’t had proper internet in the evenings,my son hasn’t been able to do his work and I was forced to buy data on another network just so that we are able to work,since I’m also in school and need to have internet! We basically spent the same amount of money we pay on this contract extra this month…and these sub humans are only telling me they escalated the matter but no one has come up with a solution. I have downloaded the ICASA complaint forms and will be placing a formal complaint with them for the *****ulent ways Cell C has been treating us as customers. I will be placing complaints with all the bodies at my disposal because this is wrong! This is pure *****,making me pay for no service and being forced to take all their 💩 apologies but having no actual help offered! I have pleaded and begged to be let out of this contract and they blatantly refuse to do so,at the same time refusing to fix their mess of a network! I have tried everything to get them to fix this matter and they clearly are refusing and waiting basically for the contract to end which will be in a couple of months! I am at my wits end and if you have been abused by a network for so long and you already have mental issues you are dealing with and the only things you want to do is get home,check out and watch tv with your family and unable to. I just received news from my wife informing me that upon calling and requesting our contract,she was told that since we took the contract online,there is no contract for you to send us. Which to me says we therefore do not have an actual contract with you,but if we were to stop payment you will take us to credit bureau even though we don’t have a contract with you. How is that we can’t have a contract if we made one online? Which then makes it clear as to why you people haven’t bothered to fix your 💩…you are not contracted to do so! There is nothing that binds you to,or anything that states your obligations to us! You truly are ****mers!
So,this is what my issue with Cell C has boiled down to….the last time I received a call from a Thabang or something who after pain stakenly trying to explain what he is asking me to do the router doesn’t have the options he kept yapping about at some point I felt he thinks I’m lying but clearly the settings he was looking at and what the router can actually do were world apart. But he felt maybe I’m either dense or I’m lying…fine then seeing that the router settings changing wasn’t working he said to take out the SIM card and put it into another device. Ok,I again explained like I would someone with a mental capacity of a rock that 1,I have two extra routers. They are new and I have tried putting the sim in them but because it seems the sim is locked to it’s original router,obviously it doesn’t work in other ones. He then in his infinite wisdom said to put it in a phone,ok sounds great! Only problem is both mine and my spouse’s phones are one sim only iPhones locked on the networks we bought them from which obviously isn’t Cell C. And further explained that my the contract phone we took with Cell C was ****** and we reported it to them and requested our contract to give to the police which to this day we haven’t received. So now here we were without any device to put on the sim in and was told verbatim that they cannot help me. That without me having a device to put in a sim that decides to go out of it’s network something I’m not doing,they will not help me. Basically I was told to sit with bad internet connection whilst they take my money since it’s not their problem I don’t have a device. For weeks the network has been hurtful,and I cannot call customer service since I don’t have a Cell C number to call with,which means I must use my hard earned money and buy airtime to be able to call only to be told to basically F off. I cannot contact them on messenger like I used to because I got blocked for cursing! Which I definitely did and would probably do again because until you pieces of 💩 understand my frustration and actually fix this issue I’ll curse everything I come across….sun human or not! Yes I called you sub humans because much as you claim to be humans you aren’t! You are pathetic excuses of what that is…… It literally took me 30 minutes to be able to connect long enough to post this,probably will take a lot longer to get through and take even longer to receive feedback of you being condescending *****s!
So….apparently my language,caused by sheer frustration at Cell C and their doo doo network, hurt the agent’s feelings. Because theirs are the only feelings that matter. The fact that they literally are messing with my future,my schooling my feelings are of little consequence. So fact I did and probably will continue cursing the hell out of these people because guess what….apparently the matter was escalated on the 17th right,then because words hurt their fragile little self they chose to use that as an excuse to do absolutely ***hol about the network or internet issue. They said they would deal with the account holder since me,the account holder’s wife who was given written and verbal permission that Cell C knows about to be the point person in the matter because the account holder is not home 80% of the time where the router is. But Cell C due to hurt feeling because short of calling the words that ryhme with cup I used the one that sounds a lot like funk. But they didn’t like that,noooo my frustration hurts their feelings. Anyway I digress….so they said they will only deal with the account holder right,sharp….till this day after my spouse sent a text ****ing on them essentially,I get a call. Which was surprising because my spouse gave them their number on said text….yet they called me,some Phimzile human…guess what she had to say….the matter has been escalated. Mind you since the day they claim it was escalated my spouse the account holder never received a call or text he’ll not even a smoke signal regarding the matter. In the meantime ask me how the internet has been. So I was also told I’ll get a call by end of day today….much as I realise that end of day is 12 midnight….did they mean 11:59 perhaps? Because till now that call hasn’t come through…guess what else….the wifi is not working at all now which is normal at 6pm it all goes **** up! I can’t work,my son can’t stream we basically can’t do buggarol…. But does Cell C care? Hell no! They happy taking my money for services we not getting and blocking customers who pay them because that’s exactly what I’m doing…paying you! Incase maybe you aren’t aware what in community of property means…the money that pays you comes out of our money! I may not the the account holder but it’s my **** money that pays you to be cups to me! Absolute genetalias
Be careful of this…though Cell C isn’t the only network that does this,all of them do but since this happened with Cell C I’ll speak about our experience. My spouse got a cellphone contract then subsequently a wifi contract with Cell C…I won’t dwell much on what ****py internet connection they have and their lack of assisting people but happy to take your money and not give you the service they agreed to. That’s not what my rant is about no,my spouse had their phone ****** a month ago. We immediately reported it to Cell C to block both the phone and the SIM card. Sounds straight forward right…cool…so my spouse went to a Cell C store because they needed the contract for the police report which till now hasn’t been sent wondering why. Anyway so the reps into my spouse’s profile only to find out their contract SIM card was re activated 2 or so weeks later. Now this store rep was not surprised and told us that this happens all the time. They get complaints about this all the time and the higher ups won’t do anything to fix because should people know they are in violation of POPIA laws well we know what that would mean. Anyway the sim was reactivated and not by us,so who did it? Who is now using their data to do Lord knows what with it? Well it is the call centre people who have all our information. We are able to fail authentication when doing a sim swop but someone else was able to do it on your SIM card which only you supposed to have information of. Just like the rep in the store was able to go on my spouse’s profile they too able to,especially with the note of the sim being blocked who can ever know right? We certainly won’t know we are still paying for someone else to use your data for free! And guess what we were charged for another SIM card that again isn’t protected,R150 to get the number back. This also happened with Vodacom mind you and someone literally ****med people with the number. This time the sim wasn’t lost or reported or anything,woke up the next day someone else was texting everyone on the phone list asking for money. Who managed to sim swop the number without us knowing….the only people with our information!
Just when I think no man,they can’t possibly get any worse you prove to me you actually can! Infact the more I complain the more you will show me just how little you care about me as a customer. It’s amazing the level of disrespect you people have for your customers….no wonder no one buys your phones and SIM cards….I have been wondering why….how I would possibly know this,I work retail and have to unfortunately sell your products. Thankfully as I said no one ever wants to buy your stuff,and I for one am very honest to customers about the kind of network you provide! I have first hand experience of it and in a better position to inform them of the type of network and company you are! I will be posting a review daily on here if I have to if it will save just one person from your evil company!
Explain to me,with which data must I follow the stupid instructions you sent to further pacify me that mind you,DO NOT WORK! But because the idea is to not help me I can understand the grasping of straws. I must buy data to be able to follow the instructions you pretending will be what will solve all my problems. Just opening roaming will be the problem solver,not that I haven’t done it before but let’s further pacify the idiot wanting to cancel our **** network for not working!
Every single day,especially after I have complained the network manages to get even worse! I have a contract with Cell C,not with vodacom. So you ****py people and company are trying to pacify me again…I don’t care whose network you riding on,I had no say in that mess my contract is with you and the promise you made. Now you basically refusing to let us out of the contract you failed to fulfill….my family and I have to sit here every single night without internet. My son cannot even properly do his school work,I have to buy data but you people take a grand from us every single month for this ****?
