Stay away from HB Projects in Cape Town. Chris Saandman will not complete the work, he will do a basic minimum and then disappear with all your money.
All and any online stores for Sanuk in South Africa are a scam and don't exist. Please don't buy any shoes online from Sanuk South Africa. These shoes are currently not sold in SA so these stores will take your money and never actually deliver or fulfil your order. Always buy from the only online Sanuk store which is sanuk(dot)com.
We got Chris and the Handy boys to redo our kitchen. We paid a 70% deposit upfront. The delays and excuses started from day 1. At first, we thought nothing of it, but it then got worse and worse. When they were actually here doing the work, they seemed professional but then after removing our entire kitchen and redoing the floor, they just never came back. Chris just gave us excuse after excuse and never came back to do the work. He lead us on for a long time. I still have all the messages, emails, voice notes and pictures from Chris over this period. We eventually lived without a kitchen for almost 3 months. Chris removed our kitchen on the 19th of Aug and eventually, after contracting another company to complete the job at a huge loss, our kitchen was finally installed on the 8th November Almost 3 months without a kitchen! All I can say after reading other comments from other people is, that Chris and the Handy Boys will not finish a job. They will take a large deposit, do about 15% of the work and then just simply make excuses until they never return. People always ask why I don't take them to small claims court, but it's not that easy, its time, it's money and even if I get a ruling that doesn't mean that I will get any money back. It's not worth it, unfortunately. So all I can do is share my store with this community and try and help other people from making the same mistake I made.

We were flying from JNB to Margate Airport for Christmas to see family, as we always do. The weather was bad in Margate so we had a 3 aborted landings and eventually they redirected us to Durban. We are so shocked at the entire experience with Cemair because the communication was not there, they didn’t keep us updated while in the plane and eventually when we did land in Durban they refused us to leave the plane. We sat on the tarmac for at least 1.5 hours without letting us leave the plane. It was hot, they didn’t serve us any drinks, they were not providing any info, it was shocking. The worst part was that they were not going to organise anything for us in terms of transport to actually get to Margate. The staff, the pilot, everyone was rude and un helpful. How can you leave a mother and baby as well as an old lady in a hot plane for hours??? Especially in times of COVID. I have never been so disgusted by a service of a company. I had to pay R 500 for a taxi shared with other passengers to get to Margate. Cemair you should be ashamed
After reading the below reviews, I have realised that I am not the only one. I see almost the exact same issues from everyone else that I am currently having. I even see a review from Tsitsi which was my previous accounts manager :( Osidon is truly terrible, everything you read in these 1 start reviews is true. I have had about 4 different accountants now. They are always changing and they make no effort to even let me know when they have changed or try and set up a handover. I had to contact one of the old accountants personally to get details to supply to the new accountant. It's obvious that this ship is sinking and they are all going down with the Osidon ship. The only problem I have is that they continue to debit my account. You cant keep debiting my account when nothing is being done. To give context we are not trading anymore, my company has shut down so we are looking to go dormant with SARS while we try and recover. Well, this has been the task of the year because nothing has been done. Communication is not just bad but confusing. We still owe our CIPC annual fee which I have asked about 4 or 5 times for an invoice so that we can pay.....nothing to date. It was never sent. All we want to do is to go dormant. We haven't been trading now for months and haven't seen an income since earlier this year, I work a normal 9 to 5 job (we have no payroll, no PAYE, no provisional tax, no annual returns) so essentially Osidon doesn't need to do anything besides helping us with the process of going dormant. Simon promised that we would get everything done before the next debit order and guess what.... he didn't. So now I think it's the 3rd debit order taken by them for nothing. I am truly shocked by how useless they have become. Before, when we had Nolwazi and Clinton everything was great. Now I am basically just a forgotten customer that is still having their bank account debited. You should be ashamed in a time like this and after all the hardships that people have gone through due to COVID, that you offer such bad service that is actually making it worse by taking more money from us. If you respond to this review and try and twist it, to sound like I'm the bad person in this situation, like you have done with other reviews, then shame on you as well. I have all the proof to back up what I have just said.

Chris was one of the most unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. This company is extremely unreliable and untrustworthy. We had Handy Boys renovate our kitchen. It was never completed. There were endless excuses which went on for weeks. Eventually, the communication stopped altogether and we never heard from Chris or the handy boys again. Please try and avoid them.
Chris Sandmann of Handy Boys is a con man. Avoid this company at all costs. We had him in to re-do our kitchen in July 2019 and after signing the contract we had endless issues with him. He would avoid calls/messages and when we finally got hold of him he would make up excuses every time. Eventually, they came to demolish our Kitchen and do some minor tiling. Since then nothing else has been done. We are sitting without a kitchen now for almost 3 months. Again he has made up excuses for weeks. Eventually, after giving him a cut-off date to complete the work he disappeared with our 70% deposit and very little work done. He never contacted us again and won't reply to messages. He is a con man and a disgraceful human being, and I can't believe that he can sleep at night. Avoid at all costs.
