The resolution of numerous miscommunications and misunderstandings, delayed by lockdown, has been achieved. Thank you Tinka for your assistance and advice - I definitely recommend Miracle Pools for their initiative, quality work and 'after-sales' support.
It seems that word-of-mouth referrals are after all NOT necessarily reliable. I’m still waiting (3 weeks now ... ?) for Tinka to check the backwash ‘french drain’ solution we opted for – It overflowed while backwashing, now I’m wary of backwashing fully (Dirt consequently enters pool when Filter is resumed). My request that paving around the pool be repaired did not happen – I now need to pay an additional amount should I want this work to be done. I need to, I suppose, file down the odd sharp edges of the fibreglass lining applied to the pool. Coping tiles replaced neatly.
