These people call you and they don't even know their own product. I tell the guy I am very interested because my second car needs a maintenance plan. I asked the guy the guy if its mechanical insurance. He says no its not insurance its a membership. Then immediately tells me the premium is R188...lol. I ask him again and he says yes sir we cover internal and external of the car. It gets better. I ask him who is the underwriter and then he hangs up on me. (or he ran out of airtime/data). I can recommend some UNLIMITED data/airtime packages. lol. You guys should not employ sales people who cannot answer potential customers RELEVENT questions. I now have UNLIMITED knowledge of the cover NOT to buy. Thanks
This company is really disgusting. Their people are rude. It comes across as a scam. They cannot tell you where they get your details from. Watch out seems like phishing. If they only have your name and number and nothing else its a warning sign.
I am a property owner in Cape Town and appointed Ada and her son Vloris to do a short term rental facilitation. They were very effective at placing someone and we were all happy to a certain point. I guess a red flag should have gone up when they first sent me the contract or even when Floris arrived at the first meeting with my wife, dressed as he was. It is a very poorly written mandate document and also we should try not judge people the way they dressed. We learn everyday don't we. Anyway I made the mistake of signing it. The problem is that it seems they don't manage their tenants and your property effectively. THEIR tenant broke our toilet cistern and they did not even know about it. It begs the question. Did they really do an entry and exit inspection? Anyway its been a month now and still they have not replaced the unit or pay me for it. They now blaming us for not being available. I have mailed them but now they don't respond. Don't bother using them as it is clear they don't value long term relationships. I have to now fork out to replace that unit and they had just happily earned a commission. Very unprofessional and disorganized.
DONT SIGN UP WITH VUMATEL OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATE SERVICE PROVIDERS. WE ARE LOYAL VODACOM CUSTOMERS AND OUR LINE WENT DOWN LAST WEEK. NB: THIS HAPPENED IN THE PAST AND IT TOOK 2 AND HALF WEEKS TO RESOLVE BECAUSE OF VUMATEL. APPARENTLY IF YOU ARE NOT WITH ONE OF THE SERVICE PROVIDERS THEY "SUPPORT" YOUR HELP IS MAYBE COMING. WHEN I PHONED THEM THEY HAVE ATTITUDES. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! I AM GIVING IT TILL TOMORROW MORNING THEN I AM USING ALL MY RESOURCES TO MAKE THE PUBLIC KNOW WHAT **** VUMATEL IS UP TO.
Everyone must read this. I submitted below to the National Consumer Commission and awaiting feedback. Everyone should complain they feel done in. I also submitted this to Carte Blanche and hoping to get a response. I think I speak for many when I seek to expose this organisation being spearheaded by a Mr Ansar Sykes who I have never had the opportunity to speak with as everyone seems to be hiding him. I am sure that Carte Blanche will have "FUN" trying to track this guy down. It’s all smoke and mirrors when it comes to them. I approached Fresh Start Law Centre (FSLC) in November 2018 after I had applied for a job and discovered that I have 3 criminal charges against my name. (2006-2008). The 3 charges were all withdrawn but showed up on the Criminal Records Centre (CRC) database as “Case Awaiting Trial”. I was so relieved when FSLC explained that they can expunge it within 60 days. I then opted for the 3 month payment plan. The cost for the 3 cases to be expunged was R5980.01. I paid R1992.01 on 12 November 2018, R1994 on 28 December 2018 and finally R1994 on 6 February 2019. During this stage the communication was prompt and regular. I got mails reminding me to pay and call reminding me to pay so my account won’t be “FROZEN”. I have all emails from my DEDICATED CONSULTANT on record. Once they got all the money the wait started. I would call then and hold for sometimes up to 3 minutes with no responses. When you do finally get to speak to someone they just play a blaming game towards someone that always on leave. I then went to look at the Hello Peter site and other complaints of the web. OMG. Was I shocked!! Should have done it before I paid them. Anyway what was more shocking is that whenever someone complains you will find a whole bunch of comments singing their praises on the same day or shortly after the complaint. Obviously to drown the actual complaint and to increase Google star ratings. Absolutely shrewd and devious to say the least. After many many many calls, complaints, frustrations and threats I received an email on the 19 November 2019 saying that my matters have been resolved. Yes… 1 year later!!. I was over the moon. I check the FSLC on line system and it said expunged on all matters. (Please see all attached docs. I also have all the mails on record). I then decided to get it touch with SAPS CRC. To my surprise the matters were still listed. One of the matters shows “WITHDRAWN”. That was in 2014 already. The other 2 are still sitting blaringly for potential employers to view and obviously having much more other impacts moving forward. Overseas travel etc. Anyway these guys are in my opinion running a racket and praying on desperate vulnerable South Africans. They know that our Criminal Records Systems have many flaws and they are just riding this wave. It is criminal that they are stealing people’s money. I feel that they have stolen R6000 from me as I now find out I should have called SAPA myself and because my cases were all withdrawn I could have done it myself. These guys must be exposed as they are doing this to hundreds maybe even thousands of desperate people. The fact that they say the cases are expunged but still on the CRC is Fraud. One of the guys I get hold of nowadays is a Mr Wendell Isaacs. I have given him 6 weeks to get me information but he fails to and just blames the JHB office and managers that side. his numbers 021 204 4540 - 067 205 0767. FYI: they used to have a walk in centre in Century City CT. This was closed down because of so many irate clients coming there. They now have Regus Office where only documents go to. An office with no staff in it- What a joke. I have been there 3 times and am not allowed to see anyone. Please can you assist as I want this to be a formal complaint. I want my money back and I want them to be exposed
This surely feels like a scam - I paid over R6000 a year ago. They make sure they get your money fast. After that you are just being made a fool of. The member portal says that 100% complete but nothing happens. When you call you hold for more than 30 min listening to the rubbish that automated recording proclaims. I am sure this is a scam unless they can prove different. Also have a look at Hello Peter. Every time there is a complaint. There are like scores of 5 star comments on the same day. It seems they have people with multiple mail addresses to post these so they try to keep their star ratings up. Crazy......
